Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Can't say for sure that it made a difference but... The last step for me was the the final payment which arrived yesterday morning. This morning I responded to the email where my SA had asked for images of the front of the check and FedEx info asking if there was any chance that I could...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

That's what the DCU rep told me. Of course, how would they truly know what 100% of my net is.... Regardless, it wasn't worth it to me

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I got my VIN on Sunday, started DCU membership and loan application on Monday, had a rate of 1.74% approved Monday (could have gotten 1.24% if willing to direct deposit 100% of net paycheck), DCU FedEx'ed check to Tesla on Tues, it is scheduled to arrive today. So...if you start the process...

M3 glass is expensive. Your insurance provider might offer a specific glass deductible. I pay an extra $24/year to have my glass deductible at just $100.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

    Got my VIN last night 183*** M3LR, MSM,18",NO FSD OD - 01/03/22 EDD - 02/20/22 - 03/20/22 Updated EDD on 02/04 - 02/19/22 - 03/05/2022 Updated EDD with VIN 02/13 - 02/25/22 -03/01/2022 This seemed to follow a rather common pattern; EDD narrows to ~2 weeks and then a VIN is received about a...

Music randomly blares from speakers at full volume

This should be a sticky at the top of this forum section. My wife's iPhone was defaulted to 'other' and changing it to 'speaker' solved ALL the volume issues. And as you mentioned, the 'Car Stereo' option has volume issues as well. I see the ability to select the device type was new to iOS...

    Using only superchargers

She's complaining to the wrong person; most spouses can complain enough to eventually get the other to relent just to keep them quiet :-). And I agree that in your cousin's case it seems like a no brainer to get a 240 installed.

    Using only superchargers

But that proves the point since your cousin has the choice. If it were enough of an inconvenience to him he would get the 240 outlet installed. Procrastination is easy if what you are procrastinating about doesn't really present a problem. I had mine installed before I took delivery. For me...

Music randomly blares from speakers at full volume

It's an Absolute Volume issue. This is a bluetooth 'volume sharing' feature that allows you to control a bluetooth device's volume with your phone and for the bluetooth device to control the phone's volume. It's supposed to simplify volume control when using bluetooth devices but my...

    Using only superchargers

Yes, I would. By that I mean if I didn't have an at home option for 240V charging but did for 110V then I would still own a Tesla. If I didn't have an option for home charging of any sort there is no way in hell I would :-).

    Using only superchargers

We charge over a nema-14-50 each night but we could easily get by 99% of the time over just 110/15. It's the wife's/family car and it is generally in our garage from 9pm until 11am or so most days (wife doesn't work and empty nesters). That's 14 hours where it would sip 45-60 miles of range...

    Using only superchargers

Is there really no place at your TH community where you could park next to a basic 110v/15amp outlet? Even at just a 3-4 miles/hr charge rate, that would probably be enough for you based on your stated use and living/work situation. When we travel to the in-laws I charge over a 110v at their...
