    Autopilot Engaged and Override

We are in the process of getting a third party to pull logs from the car and will be filing for Tesla to turn over any and all logs that they may pull.

It was uphill and the car accelerated by about 20 miles per hour in about 1 second.

But regen should not have been working while the car was accelerating

    Will do.

Thanks. The person behind me reported that he saw the brake lights go on through the crash so we will wait till the logs become available.

I trust their logs but I would like a third party to do the analysis.

This sounds remarkably familiar. Did they ever get a resolution to what happened? I just want to get to the bottom of this and have Tesla make sure this isn't a bug. I'm not interested in monetary gain (I'm already ordering a new Tesla).

There was little ice on the road but it was snowing.

This is the sequence of events as I can best tell from what happened to me:

The tree was approximately 8 to 12 inches in diameter and the fence hit the whole front. I'd estimate the speed to be 35 to 40 miles at impact although I swerved the car to avoid a full front collision.

Thanks for having an open tone. This model’s blinkers are on the other side of the wheel so I don't think that could have been the case.

The attached images are the car as it is sitting in front of my house. I am still waiting for the police to send over pictures from the scene (I didn't take any as I had more important things to tend to).
