Congratulations. As for your first ticket, at least in my state (CA), it depends on how much you were clocked over the speed limit. I was 30 miles over the limit 10 years ago and traffic school was not an option.

If you are looking at running the wire through the rubber conduit (between the body and the hatch), I used this product (had some in the house) and had no problems fishing the rear camera wire through.

Good luck with the install. One of the members here, @CHG-ON, has a great instructional that he posted. I used his recommendations on how to install the rear camera without any drilling and running the wire through the rubber flex conduit.

There are 2 parts that need to come off. The smaller of the 2 will come off easily by pulling down and forward (towards the glass); it's connected by 4 tabs. Then remove the actual mirror, 1/4 turn counter clockwise. This will require some force. The last one to remove is the grill looking cover...

Take the leap and remove the housing behind the rear view mirror. It will make for less frustration and a clean install

Has something to do with your key fob proximity, I believe. Drop the fob in the cup holder and the screen should remain on.

Agreed. It's a great resource for current and future owners of the MS. I purchased about a month before delivery. There is a section that contains a list to regarding what to watch for during your delivery day.

No need to schedule for charging...if there is an open spot, take it. The service center near me has better offerings; in addition to coffee, water and WiFi, they also have fruit juice, candy and granola bars.

I did my first 200+ mile one way trip last weekend and went the Fremont factory for a charge and pit stop. IMHO, the Tesla Superchargers with a Service Center or factory store are the best rest stops...free drinks, coffee and WiFi.

I did not see Rakuten as an authorized seller on the BlackVue site. You may run into warranty issues when dealing with a non authorized seller.

Does not void the warranty. I purchased used set of 21" OEM rims and the SC mounted and balanced them for me as long as they were Tesla rims. They would not mount or balance non-OEM rims.

Didn't need to go to the store to order an S...you can do that online. As for buffing, take it to a reputable detailer and they will tell you what can be done. As long gone as there are no gouges or dents, buffing should work.

You may need to wait a while. In order for the unit to provide a connection to the net it will require some form of cell connection at the very least (in the case WiFi is not available). As it was mentioned before, this will require a large of data being uploaded to the BlackVue cloud service...
