I just confirmed my delivery appointment with my local SC and it will be next Thursday. I ordered in late December and requested a February/March delivery. My MS P90D arrived on February 29th and my delivery specialist was nice enough to let me see her just after she came off the truck. I asked that the SC not do an exterior detail because I will immediately send the MS for a full Xpel treatment (gone another week).

I'm looking forward to getting involved in local groups and contributing to this forum. One question I have is how long did you spend inspecting your MS on your delivery date?

My delivery 2 years ago took a little over an hour, so there was plenty of time to check out the interior and exterior of the car. I didn't find anything - in fact Tesla found a scratched door handle during their inspection and had replaced it before I even showed up for the delivery.

So...assuming delivery and training still takes some time, you'll have plenty of time to inspect the car.

For my CPO I took about 90 minutes. That was for a CPO. A brand new car shouldn't be too bad.
Most of my time was spent inspecting and very little time was spent with questions since I had done a lot of research already.
You should ask your DS to set up time with a service associate. He can answer many of the ESA, annual service, warranty questions.

I picked up my car just 3 months ago. It took about an hour. Bow and everything! had them put in all weather mats right away since it was rainy season so I would keep it clean inside. I put mats everywhere they had mats for, including the frunk and the rear well below the rear floor. My wife bought a blanket too. Call to see if they have them in stock. When I looked at the time, the website was sold out but the individual service centers have inventory usually. Love that you're taking it straight to the detailer. Mine installed a dash cam and tinted windows also with all the detail work. Enjoy!
