Wait, since when did Tesla start telling people that they would need to pay for the UV treatment?

I suspect that they will ultimately tell you that "the fix is coming and they will let you know when it does" or some such nonsense. I don't get the sense the service centers have the power to many any decisions on their own regarding the yellow screens.

I'm sure Tesla feels this is simply a wear and tear issue. Why should an owner assume a core part of their car will last the life of the vehicle... totally unreasonable to think that. :rolleyes:

Sorry your case didn't go well. I guess Tesla isn't above resorting to flat out lies to win one of these cases. It really is disgraceful how they are behaving over this. Honestly, their dismissive and combative attitude over this is more upsetting to me than the actual issue itself.

It takes a while for the arbitration hearing to be scheduled anyway. I would not cancel the hearing until the repair has been completed and marked as warranty.

That is actually my reason for wanting to collect older versions of the warranty. Tesla doesn't seem to want people to have easy access to them. I would like to gather up as many versions as I can and make them available online for owners to be able to easily reference.

Does anyone have PDFs of older revisions to the Tesla New Vehicle Limited Warranty? I can download the Feb 1 2019 revision from the Tesla website but can't find any older copies. I don't really like that Tesla only makes the latest copy available on their website (as far as I can find).

Unfortunately I think the claims are per car so you would have to file twice. You could do it serially so you can learn from the first go around for the second car.
