Nice analysis @Vedaprime. End of September is what I have in mind. Works well with the holidays. Tesla might be happy to just target “invoice and payment” dates for the books. Delivery can happen outside this quarter and does not affect the bean counters - I think.

Yes- largely driving on unsealed roads and on icy surfaces. The other option is to just install a flap guard (than doing the ppf).

Click on Tesla Account. Click on the image of your car. View source (if using Chrome browser it is Ctrl U) and search for vin.

Yes, just as a plan b in case the wall connector fails. Good idea on changeover switch. Will run it past my electrician. By the way (have not received a quote) but the verbal estimate is 1000 NZD for the install.

Any thoughts on installation for home charging? Tesla were kind enough to refer me to 2 electricians in Wellington to seek quotes etc. I am thinking of having an additional NEMA plug in for mobile charger. (Separate from the wall unit)
