Incorrect. The rated range is dependant on battery temperature. The battery may be outside it's optimal temperature range without a snowflake or blue bar display. And battery warming might may turn on without that snowflake or blue area display. Phil

The rated capacity of any battery is specified at a certain temperature. Change the temperature, the capacity changes. Phil

I would not worry too much about charging when the battery is cold. The only downside is wasted power due to the battery heater bringing the temperature up before charging starts. I also charge after a drive when it's below -10°C. Phil

Be aware that EVSE's verify the presence of a proper ground connection by injecting a small current through the ground wire. If your circuit is protected by a GFCI breaker, it may trip. Also note that EVSE's provide GFCI protection, hence the test. Some EVSE installation instructions even...

Charging will stop at 06:00 at the latest. Conditioning will start to have the cabin at the set temperature for your scheduled departure time. The start time will vary with outside temp vs setpoint. Phil
