It is that time of year where I am often reaching for the front windscreen heater button to de-mist. Has anybody been able to work out the correct words to turn it on via voice activation? Maybe its my accent, but I can't find anything that works.

To provide any reader like me who found this thread after receiving a PCN a recent event; I too made the same mistake as Fraank, followed his post and received the letter this week to say the PCN was cancelled.

One option would be to use the voice activation to do the air con and glove box opening. For the bug on the windscreen issue, can you not tap the button at the end of the left stick - hold down if you need fluid to help clear it?

I requested the Tesla sales person use a previous customer's referral code to get extra miles, so maybe this happened to you too.

There is a suggestion on mytesla for an official fix; MoreTesla.com . I live in hope that one day Tesla will enable an "official" upgrade.

I still do not have a vin in source code, but do have one in the Final Invoice. This also has a "Scheduled Delivery Date" of the 2nd of Jan, although the chap on the phone said it would likely be later than this.Hopefully yours is matched soon too.

Maybe that will help Tesla decide to make our spec with another order :) I am away at Christmas and am getting to a point where I would prefer to get it in 2020 so I do not have to leave it on my street for the duration of my holiday. Praying that I do not get a delivery date during my time...

Are there still lots of people who have ordered before September waiting for their cars? I ordered originally on the 9th of August and was at that time was told it was likely to be a September delivery. It has since been pushed out to October and then November and now they are talking about...

Exact same spec as me. I was told today that if I do not get a VIN by Friday, it will probably be December delivery. I ordered on the 8th of August.

I ordered 8th of August and still no VIN. I phoned on Friday and they said they expected to finish assigning this weekend, probably finishing up on Monday. Hoping that I get it tomorrow.

I used to order things from those Joke catalogues as a child and having to wait weeks for delivery. Waiting for my order reminds me of those days, albeit this is a far more exciting toy family car.

Thanks for the tips. I did notice that in early September, their algorithm estimated November too, so maybe there was some known spike that made them tweak their estimates.

I had a similar conversation today with the delivery team. I ordered a M3 DBM LR White Interior 18" wheels with Tow Hitch on the 8th of August. The lady described my spec as a "unicorn" - best case end of October if it is on boat about to leave. Apparently they do not know what is on the boat...
