SOLD! Car and winter tires.

2 recalls were performed last week. Pressure/temperature sensors were replaced and the upper control arm ball joints were resealed. Mileage is now at 13,502 and I drive it weekly.

I've owned my MYP for 10 months and 9500 miles. It's a very fun car. Would I buy it again... I'm not sure. Road trips are less convenient than in an ICE car. Plan on lots of extra time charging instead of driving. Driving with traffic I lose about 1/3 of the range. Around town is a blast...

It was weird at first not having to stop at a gas station once a week. I forgot how much that sucked to gas up your car when it's very cold and windy out. It was nice taking a road trip and only stopping for 10 minutes to gas up and use the restroom. Supercharging takes longer to get back...

I'm still getting used to it. At first I thought having to nudge the wheel was a pita. I'm getting used to it and it is more relaxing. And I think it'll help the value when I eventually sell it.

Mt 150 lb. Mastiff mix barely fits on the back seat. My son and I will be taking a short trip to Green Bay with our dogs. He has a 30 lb. rescue. Fold the back seats and put a blanket down. We'll see how it goes.

That's good news. I grew up in Baraga and still have family up there. The trip can be made without SC's. Just takes some extra planning and time.

I set up a service appointment to have the TPMS delivered. Thinking that I can at least start a conversation on how to buy the sensors. Service will deliver my sensors next Monday. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work. Doesn't seem efficient to me. Oh well. Now I know.

I too am looking into getting a set of winter tires/rims. The tire rack can help me out but are admittingly having a hard time getting the Model Y TPMS. I've searched for the MY sensors and haven't had any luck. Does anyone else know where to get them? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having the same issue.

I'll be buying a set of winter wheels and snow tires this fall. My plan is to call Tire Rack and have them figure things out for me. Let me know what options are available. It should be pretty straight forward, right? Or am I missing something?
