Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

My car has the G pack with slightly lower capacity than yours. According to the newer raven packs (G and supposedly also H) don't run fans high like the earlier models. But the general consensus seems to be that the Raven cars should be able to keep 140kW to around 50%, then throttle somewhat...

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

Still seeing the same major drop to 250A (~92kW) after less than 30% charged. It is quite unsatisfactory, especially since I'm not sure that this isn't damaging to the car. Seems like some sort of safe-mode, and there is no external indication that the car is doing anything to remedy it, other...

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

Thanks for the info. That still seems massively faster than in my case. Usually I get the steep decline to 92kW after only 30% SOC as shown above. Same as OP's charts. It has never charged appreciably faster than that. Under all circumstances never near the numbers in Bjørns video. I'll take it...

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

That seems really slow. In the video I linked to, Bjørn gets almost 40% in the same time. And that is even with the capped CCS adaptor.. Still hoping for _jmk to chime in on his current speeds. Although his earlier post on this page seems to indicate that he is no longer getting the speeds he...

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

Let's try and keep this OT: Can anyone with a rev G/H pack comment on their current SC rates?

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

So massive throttling after 10 minutes on those cars is considered normal? Anyway.. My battery is a rev G, so would reasonably expect it to perform better than the older X100 (BTX6) battery. And going by this video by Bjørn Nyland it should have no problem going @131 for almost double that...

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

Basically my best case scenario: 7% start. Throttling at 31% after 10 mins charging. Seems quite mediocre, maybe this is the new norm? This is on a V3 with CCS.

Raven Performance in Europe - only hits 140 kW for few minutes, 92 kW for the rest

Any updates on this matter? I'm having the exact same problem. MX with G pack. Have a lot of charge graphs if you are still interested..

V3 Supercharging rate with Version H battery, anyone tested?

Are those numbers your own experience with supercharging? I haven't tried V3 yet as they're still quite rare here, but Tesla lists the CCS adaptor on their site as being able to deliver 250kw..

2021 Model X, Monroney Sticker Range Increase

Where does the 105.3 usable capacity come from? I thought they were both 100kWh packs?

2021 Model X, Monroney Sticker Range Increase

Sounds like it might have been a workmate doing the checking ;)

2021 Model X, Monroney Sticker Range Increase

I would guess it was the first thing to be measured, since no hard info exists on either G or H packs. But testing a battery behind an advanced BMS should be far from trivial, so would also love some details if possible!

2021 Model X, Monroney Sticker Range Increase

It seems like these two posts present contradicting evidence :) I'll try to get charge info from my G pack. Funny thing is that my car is registered as having a 114.6kWh battery when I look up my license plate

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Still not back from the shop? I picked up my X a few days ago and it's a G pack rev. Thanks, found it.

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Interesting, I havent seen that one. Is it in one of his videos? Do you have a link?

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Ok, so yours is with the 250kw theoretical max charge rate? Do you find it has a faster charge curve than what is generally known, or is it just a marketing ploy?

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Well, since battery day came and went without any significant news (except ofc for the extremely disappointing timeframe), its safe to assume the correct answer to the question is nope. What is your battery rev. dmurphy?

    Recently produced Model X batteries

No, everyone should of course reply. The thing is I don't expect glide to have a less than one-month-old MX. If I am mistaken - my sincere apologies. But even then, an answer of "nope" to a quite detailed post without any additional details comes off as really glib and thus not very...

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Oh I'm sorry if I mistook your post as arrogant and unconstructive, when in fact it was apparently the exact opposite. I'm sure OP is happy you chimed in.. Good idea, best way to know for now. I must say my previous thought that the new batteries were already being put in cars pre-battery...

    Recently produced Model X batteries

Ah the Honda Civic loving post padder returns. Thank you for your invaluable input on this matter also. On topic though, like jmk writes faster charging is only possible in case your battery capacity is smaller than earlier models - all else (charging power) being equal. Could theoretically...

    Battery Day

Glide: R&D isn't a money printing machine? (paraphrasing) It's not, unless the product has a clear functional advantage over the previous product. Otherwise I'll just start myself an R&D department reinventing the wheel. Only time will tell if Teslas new tech will be worth a price hike, see my...

    Battery Day

I guess you don't get to 2k+ posts by writing with substance. "R&D" just doesn't remotely cut it for adressing my post. My points are valid, your point isn't even one. And about the Civic, apart from "who cares about your cherry picked case", I'm quite sure the price still is within 10% over...

    Battery Day

Wrong. Tesla are losing market shares in most of EU and have generally lost the lead on specific points like charging speed and repeated launches. Even range is not best-in-class when Lucid Air comes out. Teslas have consistently dropped prices over the last few years, as has every other EV...

    Battery Day

Why would prices go up? Project Roadrunner (1Mmile) is supposed to be much cheaper to produce. And thus, why wait to implement on the exact date of battery Day? Prices will change to reflect any advancements related directly to consumer experience - range/features/performance etc. I very much...

    August/September VIN Notifications And Deliveries

Depends upon how you look at it. Revisions can be something as trivial as "thicker wires", or it could be a fundamental change in cell manufacturing process - ultimately even the fabled "million-mile battery". The new revisions came around june AFAIK, and with the acquisitions of Maxwell and...

    August/September VIN Notifications And Deliveries

I strongly disagree on the first two points. I think you are confusing battery day with a new product unveiling, when in fact battery technology is applicable to all existing Tesla vehicles. That means battery day is extremely likely to impart the now-famous Osborne effect if the advantages are...

    Model - X Dimension

Hi there, To start off, there seem to be uncertainty of the real width of the car. Most sites will claim 1999 mm without mirrors, but a few are claiming 2070 (eg. automobiledimension.com). I suspect the former is correct, and the car should be comparable to a BMW X5 in width. I can't comment on...
