I obviously don't know the truth of the matter but reflexively dismissing it as manipulation or BS is not helpful. It's entirely plausible Elon would upend the strategy to go all-in on autonomy.

Can we please keep the Delaware court judgment discussion focused on substantive consequences for TSLA here, rather than conspiracy theories and character attacks on a judge? There are plenty of other places on the internet for this kind of off-topic venting e.g. reply @elonmusk on X.

The judge seems to hinge their ruling mostly on whether there was a sufficiently adversarial process to explore in good faith what the minimum threshold was to retain Elon. His ultimatum in recent weeks is starting to make a lot more sense and might even have been "performing for the cameras"...

IMO Rob is a treasure to the community who sometimes sticks his neck out in public and generally takes responsibility when he has been wrong, unlike many of the toxic bull "influencers" on social media.

As long as he remains in total denial about the exceptional nature of the TSLA decline nothing is going to change.

Re: assignment I noticed a big drop (many 10-20%) in open interest last night for the DITM put contracts relevant to me. I'm now a believer that new lows cause cascading assignments due to margin calls and partial assignment on spreads.

FWIW around mid-May (as we approached the high 600s) I was assigned ~3 weeks out from expiration on some puts that were over $300 in the money. If you find yourself rolling DITM puts during a protracted downturn and want to avoid actual margin debt I'd suggest a big buffer of time to expiration...
