Late to post on this one as Arlington's tax bills are due 10/5. The assessment for my 2013 S60 was originally $73,600 (tax bill = $3,105)!!! After an obvious appeal, it appeared they tagged me with one of Xenilophobe's P85s. The "reduced" assessment came down to $59,400 with a $2,395 tax bill...

Funny to read this the day after receiving my third drive unit, fourth chargeport, second set of tail lights, and new rear applique (after replacing the onboard charger and the mobile charger in previous visits). Mine has been a mess. Congrats to those going for the "good" record.

Hah - ya beat me to it! Will the market be flooded? If I didn't actually have to EXIT the car when it pulled into the garage, I could actually use my garage! As is, the S's doors open too wide to fit.

As another reference, I received my tab from Arlington several weeks ago with a 2013 S60 vehicle value of $57,449. Property tax sucks. At least Arlington gives a little relief for "clean special fuel" vehicles. The county reduces the tax on $17k worth of value - from 3k-20k - by 23%.

I can't comment on the security of USB but I had the exact same problem as the OP did with what I thought was a clean USB. It would've saved me a lot of time had the service center just suggested I remove the USB before a half day with a rental car. No more problems since removing the "bad" USB.

Forgot to post about the Blue S85 I saw there a few weeks back. We gave the wave. I was in a Grey S60. I also spotted a Blue S at Wildwood Center on Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda this morning. The owner was getting something out of the trunk and we exchanged waves as I passed through the lot.

Actually, I'm not sure. Given the traffic Ven Rala mentioned, I might back into the spot so that I don't have to back out into oncoming traffic - particularly given that the supercharger hardware will block some of the visibility.
