Collected my Y today. Far fewer issues than when I collect my 3 a few years ago. Build quality seems a lot better! Has anyone noticed that the fog light controls are disabled and cannot be turned on? I’m right in thinking the LR should have fog lamps? Cheers!

I have had this happen before on a different stretch of road. I think its something to do with EAP trying to change lanes. It was happening after I joined a motorway and there was road works/cones on my left.

So last night I stopped at a supercharger for 20 mins, it was pissing rain and around 12oC outside. After setting off I noticed the external temperature reading start to rise, and continue to rise till 25oC, stayed there for about 15 mins and then gradually fell back down to the correct...

Got a delivery window finally! March 15-29. No VIN still tho...progress anyway!

This is a question that has probably been asked a lot, so sorry in advance. Do we expect VIN assignments as the ship sails or as it approaches Suez. So for people expecting March delivery but still no VIN they would expect it by latest end of next week?

Test drove today. Honestly, cabin noise felt slightly better than my M3. Seating position noticeably higher, more comfortable mainly down to the extra room. Build quality (handles etc felt and looked better than my US made 3 also) which I was pleasantly pleased about. Ride isfirm but not...

Reading this makes me tempted to cancel and opt for a 2nd hand Model X..... Planning to upgrade the Y to a refreshed X eventually anyway.

Dont know where you have read that....they start at 43k, just checked to be sure. So considerably cheaper than MY. See the screenshot. I said 5-10k cheaper as thats for a spec that is more similar to the MY in terms of range, but still cheaper. You have to spec everything max to hit 60k+!

Yea I do fairly long drives in my M3 from time to time. I have friends with other EV's that have had absolute nightmares finding working chargers on long drives

Think around 5-10k cheaper tbh. Less range though

Yep by just over a grand. Not sure why. This is verses the price I got late last year when I filled in the trade in form on Tesla's website, not via my order. So actually this is the trade in form vs the order trade in form actually I guess.

If anyone is interested the price I got from Tesla trade in was better than WBAC and motorway. The price actually went up after I sent in the photos. Motorway was better than WBAC also.
