Mobileye 560 not working after Tesla FW Update 2018.48.12.1

I noticed that the Mobileye in my pre-AP Model S stopped working a few months ago. I'm not located near a Mobileye dealer. Has anyone managed to update it for the new CAN? If not, is a Mobileye installer likely to be able to do this quickly if I head down to one? Thanks!

    Touchscreen replacement instructions / DIY?

Sounds great, @macbeth -- I'll send you a PC. @Rockster , I think you're right. I don't think a full MCU swap is feasible without at least swapping a chip from what I've read -- not to mention much more expensive. Does anyone have any experience swapping just the screen? Thanks!

    Touchscreen replacement instructions / DIY?

Does anyone know of any tips/instructions for replacing the touchscreen yourself? Like many others of its time, the screen in my 2014 Model S is delaminating and causing quite a mess. The Service Center said it will be somewhere around $1200 to replace the screen (not the entire MCU), but of...

    Washer pump not working

Also, if you can, would you mind uploading the entire PDF in case there are other items that are not included in mine? I wonder if the difference is model "year" (mine is 2014) or country. Perhaps Canada requires that Tesla provide that information?

    Washer pump not working

Thanks very much! Unfortunately, it looks like the washer pump doesn't have it's own fuse. I spoke to a Tesla tech yesterday who said the same. Nothing can ever be easy, but I guess it was worth a try. ;)

    Washer pump not working

My manual does not include that. Perhaps you can post yours. ;)

    Washer pump not working

Did anyone figure out the fuse for the washer pump? Mine just stopped working and I'd like to check that first. (Out of warranty.)

Report back if you find it operating. I'll be passing through on Tuesday afternoon and may check it out unless someone has already done so.

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

Tesla does not require annual maintenance for the New Vehicle Warranty, but they do for the ESA. At least that's what they told me. I suspect the enforcement will vary from SC to SC. If you're counting on them not enforcing it, I'd suggest trying to get it in writing.

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

Good question, and perhaps you should ask a lawyer or Service Center to answer (in writing ;) )... https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/blog_attachments/na_tesla_warranty_plan_agreement_ot.pdf "To maintain the validity of this Vehicle ESA, You must follow correct operations procedures and...

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

Be sure to read the fine print first. Drive unit replacement would be part of the separate 8 year, unlimited mileage warranty. Windshield (and probably sun roof) is not covered by the Extended Service Agreement. Whatever repairs you may need in the extra 50,000 miles / 4 years may or may not be...

Tesla App on Android slower than iOS?

It is functional. As supra said, the data does appear to be cached, but I'm able to turn on the A/C much faster than with the Tesla app. Energi has crashed on me several times in the last few days (I sent reports each time) and the interface is not intuitive to me. For example, I had to try the...

I'd be very happy to pay for a working app. Does anyone have a link? I can only find the iOS version.

Tesla App on Android slower than iOS?

It's really a shame. I sent Elon a tweet recently, but doubt that anything will come of it. Very frustrating. I'm hopeful that some third party will build another app one day. Twitter

@Wayneb - I've got a request from another user for a new version as well. I'll probably work on both later this week. Do you want a version that doesn't include the 1/4 mile time and motor torque? Also, the 70D and P90D are listed on the current poster as rear + front hp, but perhaps you can...

Here's an updated version. Changes in this version: - Added new bullet under Technology that describes Autopilot. - Changed first bullet under 100% Electric to reflect the highest possible range (288 for 90D). - Changed EPA rated range of P90D to 270 (the highest of the conflicting numbers on...

I wanted to include the highest "up to X miles" range at the top, if that's what you mean... Although I just noticed that Tesla's web site has two very different values for P90D range: 253 miles: Model S | Tesla Motors 270 miles: Order your Tesla Model S | Tesla Motors Weird...

FYI, I have an Earth Day event coming up and just updated my poster to include the Model 3 photo. My car is a Model S 85 and so the middle column represents those specs. As always, I'm happy to make other versions of the poster. Just let me know the model and specs you want on it. :)

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

I didn't catch that in Tesla's ESA, but maybe you can point me to it. Even if it isn't there, that's not to say that the Service Center won't have some leeway to charge appropriately in those cases.
  26. TechGuy

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

Yup, that's correct - which could end up worse if you have to take the vehicle in multiple times for the same issue (as I have, and probably many others).

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

Probably the long list of exclusions and service requirements. At least, that's the case for me. See my earlier post here: Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage? - Page 4 Of the items mentioned in his post, most wouldn't be covered by the extended...

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

What kind of visits? Something that would be covered under the extended warranty? I have a 2014 and haven't had any door handle issues... but I think that I'd probably be ahead even if all four handles died out of warranty! :)
  29. TechGuy

Did you purchase the Tesla Extended Warranty for extra 4-years/50K miles coverage?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy the extended warranty myself. I'm at almost 41,000 miles after 18 months of driving. I'm estimating that $4000 ESA will cover me for an additional 2 years or so. But... what does it actually cover? It doesn't cover the battery or motor (which is...

Thanks, I'll do that! Just as a data point, the version linked to earlier in this thread (0.50.08) works fine for me. The version linked at VisibleTesla (0.29.00) would not log in.

Sorry, just saw this message, JMG. The Staples print turned out fine, although a little fuzzy in areas due to the printing process. (As it's technically a yard sign, I suspect the resolution isn't quite as high as on real posters... but you can't beat the price!) If you're uploading it to...

That's what was listed at Model S Design Studio | Tesla Motors as of a week ago... although now it says just "328hp" for the 70D. I assume that you don't just add the horsepower of the two motors to get the sum? I'm not a car guy... Perhaps I should revise the 85D poster to show only one...

120/240 makes the most sense to me... although my dad, who is a building code inspector, says it's actually 115/230 +/- 5%. For the record, the Tesla Motors web site says 110/240, which makes no sense to me:
