I just got my Model Y yesterday (VIN: 241xxx) and it has exact the same humming sound.

Just got VIN 241XXX :)

EDD was changed from 8/1-8/20 to 8/2-8/13 today.

More and more people received new VINs since yesterday. My theory may be right.

The ship has finally departed SF port early this morning and is sailing to Taiwan and maybe South Korea. There is no more car carrier coming to SF port in this quarter I guess.

I also ordered a MYLR White/Black on 5/20 (current EDD: 7/31-8/20). I wish I could stop those semi trucks to get a few MYLR delivered to you and many of us in this group :)

I saw many semi trucks (about every 5 minutes) on highway 101 carrying new Model Y and Model 3 heading San Francisco Pier 80. It seems the oversea delivery is at full steam!
