is the general "october" edd similar to the "september" edd glitch that happened a month ago? i had 5 straight days of "september" until it swapped back to july edd's. then several days later it went back to "september" for a few days before swapping back to what would be my final edd range.

i received my VIN when my edd range was around 8-9 days like your current edd, so fingers crossed! i think my final edd before receiving a VIN was 7/18 - 7/27 and the week before my edd went up a day every day starting from 7/15 - 7/27.

yeah in my experience they are only helpful once you have a VIN they can track, and even then i had to call into burbank to talk to someone since my assigned sa hasn't returned my calls, emails, and texts since my order first went in lol

i thought this too but i think as the range shrinks, it's either closer to the front or to the middle. speaking anecdotally, my edd range was 7/16 - 7/27 for most of the week until i received a VIN yesterday and accepted delivery today for 7/20.

after receiving my VIN yesterday, my order page just updated to show that delivery is happening on 7/20 and now allows me to complete final payment. no email/text/call from tesla but it's still early - tesla burbank opens at 10 so we'll see.

according to what i've read on here and from participating on the model y subreddit for the last 3-6 months, it seems like tesla does wait until you complete your profile to initiate the order. the recurring advice i saw was to order with cash (to avoid any snags with completing your profile)...

people reported yesterday it was a glitch and switched back to july later in the day. my edd immediately updated to 7/15 - 7/19 once i got a VIN this morning, so i'd imagine that will be your true edd as well.
