I just got back from a 10 day trip. Got to airport parking with about 60% battery left. Powered the car off from the Safety menu, and did not check it from the app the whole time i was away. Get back and it was down to 42%. Seems excessive? It's a 2015 so no sentry mode or anything like...

Yes for sure - I basically told them that i had it before the MCU upgrade and don't now, and that apparently it was looking for some sort of account info which I didn't have. He said he had to "escalate" my request and that it should be pushed OTA within a couple of days. This was yesterday...

I noticed when I removed the frunk tub to troubleshoot an air suspension issue that it was easy to localize the whine - in my case it appears to be the coolant pump just whirring away. You can put your hand on it and feel it. Almost sure that's the noise - not sure why it needs to run...

OK - they got my air suspension issues fixed, and he said similar to above, that he put the request in and I should have it back in a couple of days. I sure hope so, Tune-in is miserable with all the ads!!

OK - done and dusted. They confirmed that the original compressor not only had seized but was the source of the leak in the first place (as suspected). They checked all 4 struts, the hoses, and connections to and from everything, the valve block, etc and declared it all sound. They also...

Yeah, fingers crossed. I made it pretty clear that I favor a methodical approach. At the moment my hypothesis is that if the valve block were leaking, it would not have held after I pumped it up. I'm happy to be proven wrong with data. Must be my lucky day - I actually even got a loaner...

update - confirmed as we thought that the pump is seized. The air struts and lines appear OK, they will check the valve block once the compressor is back in and running.

So I am at the service center now and had a good thorough chat with the tech, so I think we have an understanding this time. The car made the 60+ mile drive without issue with the manual airing up I did, but I did disable the automatic lowering at speed so as not to tempt fate. :-D Now let's...

I think it must be a bug. Mine still shows normal (for now). I am on version 2022.24.8 on the car and 4.12.1 on the app. iphone.

I tested my relay off the car, and it appears good (contacts normally open, and close with 12V across the coil) - but it is not above suspicion. @Gtech - do you know if the relay is what powers the compressor, or does the compressor get its on/off signals from the ECM? Wondering if perhaps...

Thanks, @Doanster1 - that will save me from going down an unfruitful path. So in this case, I did a hard reboot of the car to get rid of the red icon, and that seemed to allow the reservoir to distribute air (after enough refills). I am guessing there is a pressure sensor along with the ride...

Yeah used to be a nice little hack to get someone to check something out remotely or answer a question right away. Alas, looks like all of the above paths just redirect to a list of knowledge base articles, without any option to reach a rep if none of the options helped. Dammit.

In my case, it sounded like a compressor running at full tilt. Underneath that was a sort of crackling sound that made me think of an arc welder or those science labs in old Frankenstein movies. I'm just glad its stopped for now.

There are bound to be escrow services as well - I have bought and sold 2 airplanes for less than this amount and used a service. Peace of mind, and usually the buyer is willing to split the cost.

I got the notice today for 2022.8.10.5, though I am having the MCU upgraded on Thursday anyway. Has anyone started getting intermittent warnings about "Air suspension adjustment unavailable" since the update to 2022.8.10.1, or is that just another lucky coincidence?
