What battery packs do we receive in Aus for LR and P? Do we get 82 kWh or 79Kwh

On the side note today I test drove MY RWD and I felt the ride was unnecessarly stiff and can feel the bumps quite a bit more than M3....will stick to my CX9 for SUV until Tesla can soften them a bit ‐---------- M3 LR White/Black OD: 03/05 VIN: Not Yet | EDD: 🤷‍♂️

To be honest it's actually $3800 from 76200 to 80k

Also the update from SA to my mate who booked MY today was orders before 12pm would get their MY delivered in Aug (both RWD and P) as 5k were allocated to Aus...but here we are waiting for M3 for 9-12 months

True can't understand the logic couple of weeks earlier there were rumours that Tesla would stop taking orders of Model Y because of demand now they are delivering MY before M3

Congrats to all who received their calls...there may be more good news on the way....I spoke to my SA 2 days back and been advised that tesla is planning to fast track orders and waiting times may reduce in coming days....so fingers crossed 🤞

Won't get the rebate because 67900 plus delivery (1300 approx similar to M3) and 350 booking will put over the threshold for rebate

Yes for delivery roughly what is the variance atm....I know currently it states 9-12 months. But how early or later LR is to RWD

Yeah I put in an order last week and I guess there is quite a bit of wait for me fingers crossed if gets comes a bit quicker Model 3 LR | White/Black interior | OD 03/05/22 | EDD 9-12 months | Sydney

550km would be real strech may be around 480km, seen few of Bjorn videos where he is done 90km and 120km test on RWD with 404km/289Km (weather was quite cold like -3) similar test on M3LR yeilded 563km/422Km but weather was good not cold. Still I think RWD is a great value

I found this video today on M3LR its mad if you can get so much range 640KM on single charge... , I need to find similar video on RWD M3 to see how much max it can go

Also today I have been told that Aus may only get RWD model Y and performance model Y as AWD option by Tesla rep, so this begs the question if they will do the same for M3 in the future to have just RWD and Performance as AWD option....if that happens then LR will become a rare commodity here in...

Ha nice congrats on your new purchase I am also keen on the real world kms for each of these models looking at stats and 100% charge should be more or less similar would be good to know from daily drivers of both the models

Hi All, I have placed an order M3LR today but I reconsidering whether to change it to M3 RWD as I have been told that RWD is coming with a better battery in LFP where you can charge to 100% compared to 80-90% for NCA in LR ones and LFP have better degradation as well and also with NSW EV rebate...
