New Cybertruck images from earlier today

The Cybertruck just seems like a desperate cry for attention. The "somebody, anybody, PLEASE look at me!" vehicle. And yes, still quite hard on the eyes.

Window tinting questions, costs, and pics

Lol. You don't want to use the shop I used. My tint job actually ended up being free after I was given a full refund. They did a horrible job! Maybe I should have spent $1700. 😄

Twitter app coming to your car

How about a shuffle option for Tidal? Do I need to get an "x" account to ask Elon Musk to be able to shuffle music?

Lawd, Jeebus you're still going. Let's get some things straight... Your original point was that Tesla designed it the way they did because a double-hinged split down the center door design would be too complicated. --I showed you other vehicles that use simple one sided covers. You moved the...

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

Lmfao. The reason I didn't include the F-150s "Console Work Surface" is because it isn't a cup holder cover. It's a fold out TABLE. It can't even be used when the vehicle is in gear. That's the furthest thing from being a cup holder cover, lmao. Anyway, for the first time in the history of the...

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

It's funny you mentioned Kia, as I purposely specifically put a cup holder door from a Kia in that post. All three of the cup holders I attached to that post are on vehicles cheaper than the rumored price of the Cybertruck. I did that on purpose because I knew someone would bring up vehicle...

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

I didn't say its a cheap solution. I said it LOOKS cheap. That's an important distinction. Tesla's "vegan leather" is a cheap solution but it doesn't LOOK cheap. They could have found a cheap solution to cover the cup holders without making it actually LOOK cheap. For example, a door as you...

Because a few people disagree with you? This is a discussion forum not an agreement forum. We don't have to agree with you. It isn't against the rules. Stick to Russian/CCP forums.

As a freedom loving American I value your opinion and your right to assert it. :)

"I don't agree with you so you shouldn't be allowed to speak." - A Russian that can't stay on topic and has to have the last word 😂

    Snippiness 2.0

Lmao. Stop being a "last word type of guy," kpanda17. Stay on topic! We're talking about Cybertruck images. No thread derailments please. ;)

    Snippiness 2.0

You see radical and revolutionary. I see a modernized Delorean. The basic design language is borrowed from a car designed in the late 1970s. If you add two doors, a bed, and a lift kit you have a Cybertruck. The real disappointment is the cheap looking interior. The piece attached to the...

The only person I've ever said is a bot is kpanda17. Not true? Back up your claim with proof. Go ahead, I'll wait. Wouldn't want you to reveal yourself to be a liar. "Last word type of guy" translation: he doesn't shut up when he posts stuff that I don't like. Why should I stop posting? I'm not...

    Snippiness 2.0

No it isn't. That's just something your algorithm is making you post. This thread is about the Cybertruck's images. For some reason you want to turn it into anything BUT the Cybertruck's images. Why can't you stay on topic? Are you confused about where you're posting? Why are you so...

You want me to stop discussing the Cybertruck's appearance in a thread dedicated to the Cybertruck's appearance? 🤔 Is there a gas leak in here?
  16. B

    Snippiness 2.0

I'm convinced that this dude is a poorly programmed Tesla bot. Every word he types comes straight from a Tesla press release or Elon Musk's Twitter account. There is no way that a sentient human is authoring these posts.

    Snippiness 2.0

I'll just say this; do more research and stop relying on Tesla press releases, website, and tweets as the basis for your Tesla knowledge.
  18. B

    Snippiness 2.0

Okay, since the topic didn't move back to the spy pics, I'm back. You keep mentioning "we only care about ecosystems." Literally no other person in this thread has made that claim. Just you. You keep mentioning "we don't care about interiors." Again, you're the absolute only person who has...

    Snippiness 2.0

Lol, it's not even that I'm disagreeing with you. I just don't understand what you see as revolutionary since the only way you can explain it is by reposting Tesla buzzwords like "radical design." But I'll agree to move on and give you all your spy shots discussion back. /derail Enjoy!

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

This is what's confusing me. You keep saying how different the CT is and how there's nothing else like it, but there are already electric pickup trucks on the market. They have been available for years. You're comparing the CT to ICE powered trucks. Why not compare it to electric trucks? Aside...

So, for clarity, when you say "new type of multipurpose EV vehicle that we have not seen before. . .it is different, will drive different," you're speaking entirely of the Delorean look?

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

He literally brought up interiors on the previous page. Interiors were clearly on his mind a few posts back. I didn't randomly start talking about interiors. I've owned my M3P for a year and the interior absolutely does matter. It's the place where you spend the most time with the car. You see...

I own a Model 3 (that's one of Tesla's vehicles, in case you were wondering). I'm just not some fanboy who has never been within 30 feet of an EV and thinks Tesla's are the second coming of Jesus Christ. Stop being a brand snob. Telluride K5 Stinger Model 3 Which one of these...

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

I've owned a few Kias and currently own a Tesla. Kia interiors crap all over Tesla interiors in materials and fit & finish. The two aren't even in the same league. Someone on the Tesla forum criticizing the interior of ANY other car is ironic. Seriously, leave your bias at the door and go sit in...

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

This thread was posted on the site's main page, which is why it's received attention from non-Cybertruck enthusiasts. Someone may want to ask the moderators to hide Cybertruck posts behind a few clicks to keep forum regulars/Tesla owners from making critical posts about a product that nobody...

    Here's the R1T, for comparison.

New Cybertruck images from earlier today

My post wasn't directed at anyone. It was just my personal opinion based on the photos posted. I'll add, the interior is even worse than the exterior. It looks like someone cloaned the interior of a bass boat. This would benefit from a couple rolls of camouflage wrap. If I'm REQUIRED to say...

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

That varies from person to person. I have to lean a bit to the right to see the entire screen. It's not a noticeable inconvenience. But it's also not a noticeable inconvenience to slightly turn your head to see which signal indicator is flashing on a gauge cluster behind the steering wheel. And...

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

The conversation has been derailed since the third or fourth post. All I'm doing is poking holes in your claim. And it's quite enjoyable...for me, at least.
  31. B

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

In that case you shouldn't provide data from January-March. That's no more "right now" than Jan-Dec 2022 is. Not only are you cherry-picking specific periods to back your claims, you're also erroneously referring to 6 months ago as "right now." (Your quotation marks) 🤦🏾‍♂️

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

No, the cars I've driven have had adjustable seats and steering wheels. The steering wheel in my Tesla does cover the left part of the screen though...🤔

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

That's not true. The #1 selling vehicle in 2022 was the Ford F series. Oh, you said "car." Well, the Model Y isn't a car, but the #1 selling car in 2022 was the Toyota Camry. Oh, you meant SUVs? The #1 selling SUV in 2022 was the Toyota RAV4. Oh, you meant electric SUV? Well ya got him there! 😂...

Model 3 Feature Requests for Refreshed model 3

My first car with surround view cameras was a decade ago and cost under $30k. There is NO excuse for Tesla to refuse to offer a feature that is available on a trim level of nearly every vehicle currently being produced from $25k >. Same goes for ventilated seats AND A SHUFFLE OPTION FOR TIDAL...

Looks like they are removing stalks from the 3/Y

When someone is attempting to use it as a metric to prove a point and following it up with "see it all the time" ...who am I kidding, no, I didn't believe you, I knew you were another fanboy throwing bs out there in a feeble attempt to defend your messiah's poor judgment, hence my saying...

The horn button has been relocated to the brake pedal. One quick tap for horn. Steady pressure to brake. Simple, intuitive, futuristic, minimalistic, giggariffic, etc.

Looks like they are removing stalks from the 3/Y

Literally reinventing the wheel. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Compare that interior with the R1T's interior. It's like Tesla is actually trying to help their competition. Who's cross shopping these two and picking the Cybertruck? Vs 👀

Looks like they are removing stalks from the 3/Y

Lexus GS was discontinued 5 years ago. Not exactly a great example for others to follow.

Looks like they are removing stalks from the 3/Y

Are Tesla's sales figures really down from last year? I thought they were selling their highest amount ever. There has been a lot of competition in the last couple of years (EV6, Ioniq 5&6, i4, etc) but Tesla's price decreases should be undercutting most of those models. Personally, if I knew...

    Tesla new model silhouette

Not to be a dick, but most of what you wrote is incorrect. Many of those vehicles aren't in the same class and don't compete with each other. 5 series and E class are big-mid-size sedans starting in the mid-$50s at appx 195 inches of length. A7 is a big-mid-size hatchback starting in the low...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

You actually think SAs have information that isn't readily available on your Google machine? With the exception of telling you when your vehicle will be delivered they don't know a whole lot--and they're wrong about the delivery dates quite frequently, as well.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

That would be a huge upgrade over the current seats. Or at least offer a perforated version so there's some type of airflow. On the other hand, people don't realize how bad the seats are until they own the car.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

That's a 70 year old car. I don't think that's the compliment you're thinking it is. 😅 The seats are undoubtedly more comfortable than the benches on Oregon Trail wagons. Maybe that isn't something we should benchmark them against, though.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Kia/Hyundai are starting to use sideview cameras in place of mirrors on some of their non-US cars. I wonder if the decreased drag coefficient is offset by the increased energy usage from having two cameras and LCD screens constantly running.

So the new one with better range might get the advertised range of the old one. Cool!
