Personally, I believe that we need to instigate that the minimum standard should be a dedicated 15-amp circuit with an industrial plug style plug. Something that can be screwed into the socket, with heat resistors in-built. As with the Norwegian idea that 10-amp is for emergency use only.

I have suggested a Supercharger site at 7 Acacia Ave Warwick QLD in the same carpark as the free 50kw U of QLD sponsored one. Would make a decent jump from Tenterfield Supercharger then into Brisbane or Toowoomba. Then maybe one in the Redbank Plains shopping centre.

Something to think about; this pump is going to sit in the trunk/boot until you need it, which may well be never. How often are you going to remove it and charge the battery?

You shouldn't need one, however being the "better to be safe than sorry" type, I have fitted one. Easy enough to do and the picnic blanket in the bottom of the frunk has never been wet.

After watching the installation video my assumption of the wiring is incorrect. Given it is an LHD video you plug/piggyback the cable into another plug beside the Drivers door.

I have looked at those and the other in-dash speedo displays. The thing is, the OBD port is located at the rear of the centre console. You still have to route the cabling up to the dash. Getting the cabling down through the dash is the essence of my question.
