Cabot Trail, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Fabulous trip especially in the fall. Very doable with a J1778 adapter but would highly recommend you have a CCS adapter. Tesla are a little weak with superchargers in the east coast. Some pretty good used deals on CCS adapters now.

Tires Model Y Long Range 19 Inch Wheels

Yes with the wheel locks. I put the covers on for the odd long trips. eg. 6,000km to our east coast in June. Put more information in another tire post from yesterday. New here, don’t know how to link it. Post in thread 'Need Tire Suggestions' Need Tire Suggestions might have figured it out.

Tires Model Y Long Range 19 Inch Wheels

Very satisfied with the Michelin Cross Climate 2’s. Replaced the factory tires with these and now have a true 12 month ‘all-weather’ tire. Been through heat, heavy rain and snow like a trooper and they look great.

    Need Tire Suggestions

Haven’t properly tracked the effect on range. First 13,000km of my 16,000km were on the factory tires. Mostly back road country drives with one 6,000km trip to our east coast. The 3,000km on the CC2’s have been in fall and winter conditions. I’d read in my research to expect less than a 2%...

I sold the factory tires on my 2022 MY and replaced them with ‘all weather’ Michelin Cross Climate 2’s. No more seasonal tire changing. Very happy with their dry, rain and snow performance. Bonus is they look great.

Only issue I’ve had is an off and on rear rattle. Had it in twice but fix only lasted about a week. Fabulous thread I’ll see if it something I can resolve.

Are the Tesla All-Weather Mats compatible with 2023 models?

Got a full set of Tesmanian mats for my 2022 MY. Very happy. More coverage than Tesla (WeatherTech) mats and fit is perfect. Also less expensive.

Winter tires or winter tire package with tire/rim

I replaced my MY factory tire with Michelin CrossClimate 2. Sold the factory tires. CC2 are all-weather tires (mountain snowflake) so they will remain on the car all year. No problem for our Canadian winters.

Putting Michelin Cross Climate 2’s on my LRMY for all year use. Anyone in the GTA in the market for some lightly used Continental ProContact RX?

Travelling in Maritimes, looking for advice

Drove from the GTA to N.S. in June. No issues whatsoever using superchargers and our J1772. Had free charging at WhitePoint resort. A CCS1 adapter would make it even better once Tesla starts offering it. Suggest you get Plugshare.
