Does Xbox Cloud still work for you?

Speaking of Xbox Cloud, it worked for me today for the first time. I used TeslOz Cinema to get the full screen. It supports various Australian streaming services too!

Does Xbox Cloud still work for you?

Don't bother with Xbox controllers. I have an Xbox and ended up buying PS5 controllers and it worked. I don't have a PS5 and I didn't wanna run a cable from the glovebox and unplug the Tesla USB recording device.

    Wall connector Green Light pulsing

I had mine installed a few days ago and was commissioned by the installer as he couldnt find my 2.4 ghz signal. Last night I reset my modem and connected it. However it has now dropped off and says it is offline and the green light is pulsing. The main thing is that it works. The only solace is...

    Game Controller Support

I have some spare Xbox One Controllers and wanted to pair to no avail. I gave up and got PS5 controllers even though I don't own a machine. Apparently you need Bluetooth Classic. Someone pointed out to me that Xbox One Controllers use Bluetooth (LE) which is why it won't work. PS5 has Bluetooth...

With the new recent update 2023.26.7 wireless gaming is in! I tried using my Xbox One controller and Xbox Series X controllers to no avail. I gave up and bought a PS5 controller and it works. It even works on Xbox Game Pass livestreaming in that I can navigate but the screen goes black and...

You clearly capped it a few days ago. I rarely drive the car and dont follow prices. It was the best in Brisbane and I note Sydney is hovering around $2.20. But kudos to you. Great job!

Microsoft's xCloud cloud gaming browser beta works in the Tesla Chromium Browser

I am on 2023.20.9 and it is slow and loads. When I try and play a game, the Xbox screen loads with the sound, it goes blank and after a while I am returned back to Xbox main screen. I suspect it doesn't work.

    Dealings with SmartLeasing?

My experience with Smart Leasing has been the opposite of yours. However, I did strip out a lot of their add-ons (Green vs Purple, horribly overpriced Vero insurance, deluxe packs). The price of my Telsa changed 3 times and the delay was just a few days. Hopefully this EV FBT exemption still...

Vendor Tesery Mini Tesla Display Screen for Model 3/Y - Ultra Compact LCD Instrument

I have a Yuxi 5.5 screen and love it. Although some other people in Australia hate it, I don't care. I looked at this screen and was going to get it, but chose the bigger one! I recommend any HUD!

Yeah helps when you're not working, not driving 3 or more days in peak time and under 15k per year. My 3P is $1370 per annum with NRMA and its driven 3 or more days in peak time.

Replacing 19" Gemini wheels on MY RWD?

I did some more looking around. A standard 19" is 255/45/19 Tempe Tyres price is $410 MyCar price is $665 So you ring up MyCar and ask them for a price match and they will honour it. Nice and simple

Replacing 19" Gemini wheels on MY RWD?

The key consideration is when you are dropping down tyre size is 1. The overall diameter of the tyre must be the same or within tolerance. A good tyre shop will help you. 2. The load index of the 18” tyre must be the same or greater than 19” tyre. 3. Tyre width and brake considerations. To...

Insurance is getting out of hand

What Tesla do you have? The 3P and YP are a lot more savage to insure. Some companies flat out refuse. In QLD RACQ hates Teslas as evidenced by their quotes on them. Even a 3 RWD

    Model 3 / Y - Yuxi screen | New Telsa owner

Indeed just like people who put massive wheels and lower Tesla’s and increase the chance of damage. Just a Personal opinion. I remember watching a Rich’s Rebuild on YouTube where some person struck something under their car and it wasn’t covered by warranty.

hey all I just collected my 3P last week and slowly doing things to it. eg 3M Ceramic IR tint, mudflaps, ceramic but the most cool thing I want to share is the Yuxi Space 5.5 inch screen. Coming from an ICE car I have struggled without a display and didnt want get a sore neck...

    Dealings with SmartLeasing?

I too had to use Smart Leasing and just commenced. How did you go claiming the electricity with the Telsa app and electricity bill? I have an EVSE Premium Type 2 Granny charger at home. I was going to provide this and a copy of the electricity bill. BUT if your method works, I will abandon...

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

NRMA is the way to go. For me I am in Brisbane, 46, I put 5000-10000kms per annum and $1000 excess and it landed at $1370. RACQ and QBE hate EVs, Suncorp was a bit high. Some companies dont like the 3P. That didnt take long from order to pickup. For me it was 17 June and pickup maybe between 15...

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) in Australia

Ok. So this isn’t a novated lease per se. You are claiming depreciation etc. so that 4.2c deal per kilometre or you can claim actual usage when you pay at Supercharger / Evie / Chargefox. For a Novated lease they will reimburse you for places that give you an actual tax invoice but the 4.2...

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) in Australia

I have looked at that guidance The 4.2 cents per kilometre is for people who use the car for business purposes and they use it to claim as a motor vehicle expense under Label D1 of the Income Tax Return. That is $4.20 for 100kms. If you salary package you cannot use that rate to claim a...

Universal Mobile Connector (UMC) in Australia

I was going to buy a UMC but I am leasing my 3P and the leasing company said I cannot claim electricity usage without a meter. If I got the Gen 3 connector I would be looking at $1900 installed with a meter. So I looked around and found a quality charger 8A granny charger rather than those...

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

Last year, I ordered a 3LR in Dec 2022 to take advantage of the FBT Salary Sacrifice exemption. Then I walked away and forfeited the $350 order fee as I didn't feel I was ready. I remember it may have been around $82,000 and the package fortnightly out of pocket cost was $600. In April 23 I...
