The front end of the Model 3 is quite low so it probably does mean more debris hits the windscreen rather than the front-end of the car.

I tend to think if you are asking the question, probably SR is the way. For me it was a no brainer for the LR. No other car offers so much more for only $10k extra!! Power, AWD, range, sound system & sweet sweet alcantara.

If new and not yet detailed/protected, worth at least putting on some SiO2 or wax on the front end and mirror caps - it will make spraying off the bugs a synch at your destination. Try not to let dead bugs sit too long as they will just get baked on and dead bug acidity affects the clearcoat.
