I'm curious the problems you've had. I'm in a similar situation although my MS has not stranded me as it sounds like you've had. Similar in that I don't care to be owning a Tesla out of warranty (regardless of the car's history). Thanks!

No doubt. I don't understand Tesla's risk/reward trade here. Seems more risky to not push out a simple software configuration fix vs. customers getting very upset when Tesla tells them to pay $1000s to replace the entire MCU. Must not be too many affected customers that understand or care.

How did you set the rate to every minute?

IIRC the Hynix part doesn't report enough info to make any sort of determination of its health. Not 100% sure though.

Checking the data it appears my car is an insomniac! Too bad there's no way to see the health of the eMMC. Are other eMMC parts better at reporting health status?

I think that's the answer. Turns out I've had sleep mode disabled for the last two years!

I didn't find that option but I did find the option to enable "TeslaFi Sleep Mode" under "Settings/Sleep Modes" menu. If you know of a polling interval option please post.

How can TeslaFi be setup to not let the car sleep? It has the ability to set a single schedule but not a repeating one. How often does the car need to be woken up?

Is there a way to accelerate the wear on the eMMC? I'd like to get this fixed under warranty which expires next year.

I'm not sure this is true anymore. Check out the attached screenshot of Electrify America's map of DC charging. The few locations I clicked had rates between 75-350 kW. There's the issue of quality but I was surprised by the coverage so far. Locate a charger | Electrify America

Me too. Definitely seems like he received the previous refurbishment program. Wish they would bring that back! I got my MS just before Tesla changed the program and it was great. Before they changed the program I was planning to do it every 3 years but not now.

I just called and there was a 20 min hold time. Also just checked online scheduling and Tysons was listed as an option again but only two slots open in the next two weeks. Ugh.

I was able to schedule my last two services back in Sept/Oct time frame online at Tysons but now the only options are the MD and Richmond service centers. I'm curious if anyone else if able to schedule online at Tysons SC. Thanks!
