is this possible that the security patch is a independent segment towards 8.0 update due to firmware upgrades are base on differences of firmware

sounds reasonable. I had similar experience. Update succeed after a message says "update fail contact tesla". Everything works perfectly fine after it.

Had .71 updated 3 days ago. Noticed that regen is less aggressive comparing to .46. Anyone else experience the same? 85D

Base on the first model X delivery date. It is already a fact that model x will have AP on board apon delivery.
