Things I learned about Slacker Streaming

I found an interesting problem when I upgraded my P85 to a P100D that I get a female announcer when listening to popular songs. I never had that with my older car and I have called Testa twice and they have asked me to reset the center screen but it doesn't change a thing. Is there any way I...

Are Ludicrous and Insane Mode gone with the newer models?

I checked the website and I don't see any P90D's listed as an option. I only found the 90 or 90D which means the only performance option is the P100D.

    Heated Steering Wheel Use?

I have asked Tesla to give us an update so the heated seats and steering wheel would work the same way. I am tired of turning on my steering wheel every time I get into my car, yet the seats stay on until you shut them off. I use the steering wheel more than the seats. I would also like some...

    Model S 90D vs P100D - Which to buy?

I had a P85D and upgraded to a P100D, I have found the upgrade to be worth the expense. The car is effortless and the battery is designed slightly differently which makes cold weather driving better, more regen than my previous car. I have not driven the P90D so I can't compare. I would drive...

Put my P100d on the scale

When I scaled my car it read 5160 lbs with me sitting in it and I weight about 160 fully dressed so I was impressed with the accuracy of the scale.

Really? Thanks for trying to make a profit on everyone else's expense.

Put my P100d on the scale

Here's what my P100D weighed; no sunroof, no jump seats, and the state of charge of the battery is irrelevant. My P85D with a sunroof, same wheels and the executive seat option weighed 4,940.

Picked Up The New P100D Today....Have Some Questions

When you get the bumper repainted, have them realign the car. The car may be in perfect alignment but the steering wheel was off a few degrees when it was done. I get annoyed when my car's steering wheel is not straight and I am on a straight road with no significant crown to compensate for.

Any problems with All Glass Roof

Glass roof looks cool but isn't when the sun is shinning in the heat of the summer. I had a P85D and traded it for a P100D without a pano or glass roof. It cuts about 180lbs from the weight. The only disadvantage is it decreases rear head room for back seat passengers. But then again I never...

auto pilot not active , new vehicle

Just got a message on my phone that an update was available for my Tesla. I recently; 3 days ago traded my P85D for a P100D with the enhanced autopilot and I knew from this forum that most of the features from my previous car were not active. I am delighted that an update is available and I...

    Vibration In Steering Wheel

Picked up my P100D last night after trading my P85D, noticed significant vibration in the steering wheel when driving 70 or above.

Pretty excited with this HPWC install...

I was fortunate that my 200 amp panel was on the same side as my car. I have done previous electrical work in my house and decided to DIY. My instal cost $43 from home depot and included the 50 amp breaker the plug and 4 feet of wire. Not bragging but it is satisfying when you can do it yourself.

    7.0 (2.7.77) to 7.0 (2.9.40)

I understand this is a firmware change, but is firmware only installed by the SC or should we expect and over the air notice? And is the only way to get launch control is to get the restrictions on the autopilot?

Performance of P85D with Ludicrous upgrade review

Thanks for the very informative write up, I hope you realize that this may be very costly for all us fence sitters!

    Carbon Fiber Rims

Went on the titanium lug nut website out of curiosity and the fitment calculator said this product will not work with the Model S.

    P-ness envy

Love, love, love the title and couldn't help but respond...rather than focusing on your P ness envy you might want to boast about how much LARGER your frunk is compared to us dual motor guys. My philosophy has always been drive what makes me smile and what I can afford and enjoy the moment. No...

Did Tesla Change this Again? (P85D - Ludicrous Offer)

I will echo what has been said before and unanswered: how can a 10% increase in power improve the 0-60 time and not the quarter mile time? I wrote to Tesla and asked this question and got the same quote from the webpage. I am at least a little more tempted to have it done than I was before...

    v7.0 Owner's Manual ?

Ambient Temp where Regen is limited

Thanks for all the advice; I am leaving from work when I have this problem so the car is not plugged in and here is a picture of what limited regen looks like with version 7: It's the dashed yellow marks in the regen section of the screen

Ambient Temp where Regen is limited

I am a relatively new P85D owner and on the cooler days (50's) I would use my Tesla app to get the car interior up to low 70's while getting ready to leave work. On several occasions, I noticed that my regen was limited until I drove about 5-7 miles. The car's battery was 80% charged. I also...

    Firmware 7.0

Did Anyone Get 7.0? I was very excited when the rumors of Autopilot's arrival, went to bed wondering if I should get up earlier than normal so I could install the upgrade before driving to work. Even had a dream that I was driving my Tesla with the Autopilot only to wake up to no update clock...

Who is going to try out autopilot?

Why wouldn't anyone try it; just hover over the wheel as you go done the highway, I am sure it will work great and if it doesn't then I will be ready to do what is necessary. There have been many buyers including myself who purchased this car knowing that this technology would be offered soon.
