We moved from CA to Texas several years ago… I charged to 90%, put it in valet mode and said “see you later”. Got the car about a week later and everything was fine. I don’t recall how much it drained (did not have sentry on).

Would love to see a Tesla Golf/GTI for all markets.

Opportunity for Elon and whoever else is present to instill confidence on their path forward… more so given all of the drama since P&D came out. Some earnings calls do this and others seem less inspiring… I’m hoping for the former.

Earnings call next week is growing in importance IMO.

Anyone have any insight why the shareholder meeting vote is only for the retroactive comp package and nothing for the next several years? Seems like an opportune time to take care of both.

Compare the performance of their flagship fund against the Nasdaq or S&P1500… they’ve underperformed considerably. Teladoc comes to mind as a company she touted for a while..

Why is this fund family still looked at? She was right once in a row and truly awful with everything else.

It’s not a reflection of engineering talent, but leadership. I know many terrific engineers that are not leaders. Rohan wasn’t engineering.

Who is still on the bench? I’m sensing that there isn’t a “deep” bench anymore. Rohan no longer there is a real shock to me.

Rohan and Drew leaving aren't great, IMO... I really like Rohan's X feed-- seemed like he is working on some critical policy stuff and provides a useful lens on what's going on between Tesla and governments.

At least in the US, if I was renting an apartment I don’t think getting an EV would be high on my list. Charging would be too inconvenient and these may be the same demographic that the pricing of the Model 2 is trying to attract.

To summarize this far, we have these unknowns for RT: 1) door closing (probably an easy solve); 2) automated charging (more difficult); 3) liability and regulatory issues I’m sure more items are out there, so my suspicion is that whatever we see on 8/8 will be quite a ways off from deployment...

I’m not so sure… for RT, don’t they need to consider additional features such as auto-closing doors? (ie, passenger gets out and doesn’t close the door… MX could handle this but not MY).

Yes, this is accurate... Reg FD requires fair disclosure. There is no law stating that they (Elon) can't disclose anything between now and earnings so long as it is done in the public domain (in a prior disclosure, it was determined that x/twitter qualifies as disclosing in the public domain).

Slight disagree... the accent isn't the issue for me; it's the perception that he has less backbone than Zach and less willing to challenge Elon (behind the scenes). From a career preservation perspective, I don't fault him for this but from a highly-compensated steward of the company I think...

Negative sentiment is strong this year. Definitely need to have the board announce the new comp plan to start and then Elon committed to raising awareness of EVs and their superiority over ICE (I have notlet heard him expound on this in a while). Too much noise, not enough signal these days.
