    Bad delivery experience

I had a terrible delivery experience too, up in Bellevue. My second Tesla purchase. Had to wait about 2 hours past appointment time, place felt dead. Delivery specialist had no idea I was turning in a lease but once he saw I was a second owner, he gave me the keys and said it's basically the...

Model X Falcon Wing Door Alignment

This was a rather large purchase for me, and when I walk out to my car, the first thing I see is that non-perfect, broken arc. My eyes are drawn towards it. Perhaps years of therapy can help but if the argument against getting it fixed is that they cannot do it right, that worries me a bit...

Model X Falcon Wing Door Alignment

Thanks for the feedback, I was worried that it was structural, but it sounds like this is something the service department can adjust? Hopefully they will reach out now that the quarter is wrapping up.

Model X Falcon Wing Door Alignment

Hey Gang, I picked up my new Model X on Monday and I'm obsessing over this. Is this normal? The delivery specialist didn't know - new guy - and they all seemed pretty overwhelmed. I asked them to note it and haven't heard back yet. Googling around other model X pictures, I certainly don't...

    2016 Model S P90D 11k Miles - Lease takeover

Eikes! I made a mistake in my original post. The monthly payment is $1,686 + tax. (Not 1,846, unless of course you live in Everett, WA.)

    2016 Model S P90D 11k Miles - Lease takeover

Interesting, how did you generate that screenshot? What page gives you lease info for the inventory cars? I would imagine that would have a high residual, which you wouldn't care if you are turning it in.

FYI: 2 nicely discounted inv. MX listed

Ah. I see what you mean. Well I have no evidence for that but experience wins. :) I'm not sure why they would calculate the residual in the manner you suggest but if that's what they're doing...

FYI: 2 nicely discounted inv. MX listed

I went to the Tesla Finance page and did a view source. How they do their calcs are there. Unless anyone can present evidence that they use a different money factor, or residual, everything is being calculated pretty correctly.. Here's their math, for the technically minded (used by the Tesla...

FYI: 2 nicely discounted inv. MX listed

I don't understand, you go to the lease page, type the amount, get a result. You know something I don't - is the residual value raised for these? For instance, when I go to Tesla Leasing and type in the amount for that car, and give an LA zip code, it comes out to actually around 1800 with...

FYI: 2 nicely discounted inv. MX listed

How are you getting to mid 1400s? The leasing page comes out at 1672?

FYI: 2 nicely discounted inv. MX listed

I'm curious how you and others get at the math of this? When I type these numbers into the Tesla Leasing Calculator, the monthly payment comes out to ~1672. What are these usual variables?

    2016 Model S P90D 11k Miles - Lease takeover

The only method I know is to take the full price of the car and run it through the tesla leasing calculator. Tesla Leasing So yours, seenhear, comes to 1746, not including 7k due at signing (if we take that 7k and spread it over 36, your actual payment on that particular car is 1,940.) When...

    2016 Model S P90D 11k Miles - Lease takeover

Mind providing a link? The cheapest I was able to see is $1,746. If that's the case I guess I'll just have to tell the wife Oh Shucks, I have to keep my Model S. ;)

    2016 Model S P90D 11k Miles - Lease takeover

Hey all, I'm considering an upgrade to the X (family, yada, yada) and wanted to see if there was any interest in taking over my lease. The Deets: Lease has a total mileage of 45k and I've used 11k, leaving approx 34k for the next 18 months. Lease ends March 2019. Monthly payment is $1,846.79...

Plugging Android into USB - User Experience

Thanks for the heads up. I was shying away from bluetooth because I wanted to use the voice commands to play music. Am I right in thinking I can just hit the voice button and say "Play Daft Punk" and the car will play it from the USB? I don't think you get that with bluetooth. But can you...

Plugging Android into USB - User Experience

Hi All, I'm anxiously awaiting my Model S! In the meantime, what's the experience with plugging an Android phone into the USB port? Will the car scan for Music like it was a USB Flash? If so, does the scan take a long time? Does it re-scan every time? Right now, I have a Ford with Sync...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Got my 'in production' e-mail today too. Yipee! I'm very grateful for this thread. Seems I have to hunt down my DS for an update. This forum and the spreadsheet provided me much needed reassurance that my car is coming. :)

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

W00t w00t! Long time listener - first time caller. It could just be a website redesign. I too now see the web page as "Your Tesla has entered the factory production queue" which isn't much different than you're scheduled for production. Of course this is my first Tesla so Idunno.. :)
