How long did you have the app open? It might take a few minutes to wake up the car on its own. Another trick I've tried is toggling Sentry Mode on and off when I first open the app. This has generally worked quite well in the past if I need to wake it up quickly.

While the auto lane change feature is definitely nice, it really does depend on what type of application you'd be using it for. Is it for the short highway drive to work, only for the weekend roadtrip, etc? Personally speaking, TACC alone is a great benefit for shorter drives but I do have hope...

I made mention of this to the service center when I last took it in. Currently on 2019.5.15 and have had no issues since. If anything, do a bug report once your connection is established as they look at time stamps to address issues.

Got the car back last night. Turns out they had to replace the entire LTE board. No diagnostic report as to what happened but it's working fine for now.

I've restarted the screen about 10 times since Saturday but still the same issue. Even got an email from Tesla saying they can't even remote access the vehicle. Trying a work around solution later tonight and will report back.

Where are you located? The odds of it being a regional issue would be quite surprising.

Going on the 2nd full day of no LTE connectivity. I did ~6 restarts between yesterday and today to no avail. Called it in last night and they were monitoring a software issue but also noted that they weren't receiving data logs from the vehicle. Anybody else have this issue/fixes?

Had mine for almost a month now and it has become muscle memory already.

Charged twice on a SC two weeks ago and was billed immediately for usage. Used a SC this past Saturday and have yet to be billed. No record on my credit card or Tesla account o_O

Used the supercharger 3 times between pickup (12/26) and 12/31. I was never charged on my credit card for that usage. I used the supercharger today for the first time this year and was immediately billed. Technically free charging until the end of 2017? Any other owners notice this?

Any current owners also have difficulty connecting via the app? Sometimes it takes multiple refreshes to even grab a connection before "Vehicle Connection Error" pops up. Seems like the LTE connection could use a software update or two.

Confirming that I'll be at the Buena Park Supercharger on 1/6 at 10:30am to answer questions and let people check out the car. Maybe even offer a few test drives. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

It's definitely an extreme long shot. Only benefit would be getting the tax credit in '18 instead of '19.

Spoke to my inside sales advisor just now and I threw a shot in the dark question and asked if it might be possible to take delivery by the end of the year (ordered 12/14/17). She said it is definitely not impossible (!)

Placed my order last night and it's still showing a 4 week delivery window. Seeing as how 12/22 is next week and 2017 VIN's will no longer be registered from Tesla, I have a feeling I'll be issued a 2018 VIN unless magic happens between now and then. Will update once a VIN is issued.

Until part two of the unveil still awhile out, I think reservations will hover around the 450,000 mark. Given that the federal tax credit has already been used up, it's going to be more of a "what other tech and options are they going to put into it". We've all been surprised before though.
