No, You can barely fit on the shoulder so it's a squeeze for sure, even for a Prius. The rumble strips have the nasty stuff that gets kicked up and ruins your paint and other things you mentioned.

Totally agree. Many mixed speeds on that route. Some go 65, others 75, 80, and 85 and they are all in the left lane, always! I like to cruise at 80 and I stay right when there isn't a lot of traffic on the road.

UPDATE: SC called me and said Tesla legal should soon be approving my request to have my logs surrounding the incident. :)

UPDATE: SC pulled the logs, which are hosted in CA after being sent there from the vehicle, and is looking over everything. Rep I spoke with was optimistic that I could also be provided a copy of the logs surrounding the incident via email, but we shall see. I have yet to receive them.
