If I would have taken my own advice and invested the $50k in Tesla’s stock on my post date of August 12 2019, it would be $303k right now!

When I started this thread - August 12th 2019 TSLA share price $229 Today February 21st 2020 share price $886 So the $50k deposit would be $193k today - 6 months later. That’s a 386% return! Again, why would anyone put down a $50k deposit!!

Happy to report that the issue is MUCH less noticeable on 2019.28.3.1 You can still feel it going side to side a little bit but it doesn’t progressively get worse so Autopilot is now usable, although my wife says it makes her car sick.

Let me know how the test goes, I’m on 28.2 and I still have it but’s less noticeable. Still an issue though.

Have you seen Tesla’s track record on timelines? I don’t think we will see it for another 2 years, possibly a 2021-22model.

Do you think they will ever lower the deposit amount to something reasonable like $5 or $10k? I would love to order one but unless they are going to pay me 7% interest while using my money then I will not be putting a deposit down on one. Heck they can even make it a $5k non-refundable deposit.

2017 S and 2017 X

It’s on 20.4.2 my Model X just received the 20.4.3. I will update the S and see if it resolves the issue.

It doesn’t happen with the Model X It does happen at slower speeds but not with the same increasing effect it has o higher speeds.

I used a plasti-dip type of paint in a spray can that Home Depot was selling. I just did it myself in the garage in about 30 minutes with 5 coatings, it has a matte finish as well. I would recommend that or you can stop by your local Tesla service center and buy the black lug nut covers from them.

It's a clean install just like the video posted, running directly to the top of the rear window hatch. No wires are visible anywhere other than the small portion coming out of the microphone grill area to the front camera. I will post a picture of the final install once I get the adapter in.

I had to take over 3 times today because my car was turning into the car next to me on the right. Today is the first day my autopilot became active so I am hoping it gets better soon. I was probably traveling around 10-20 mph all 3 times it happened in stop and go traffic.

Turns out the fuse was blown for the mic connector and the camera(Rexing brand) has to have a hardwire kit to output 5V instead of 12v. I got the detector wired in through the Mic port after replacing fuse F100 under the Frunk shrowd. Waiting on the hard wire kit to get the camera installed...

Also tried wiring to the Mic connector and no power is coming out of there either, I have a 2017 Model S.

Tried using the OBD port today to install a camera and radar detector but I don't seem to have power coming out of the OBDII port. Has any one else had this issue?

It makes sense now, Hector from accounting must be running the interior engineering department till the position is filled.
