I just had my windshield replaced yesterday at the Sunnyvale SC. They had it in stock. I made the appointment last week. Seaside also had it in stock. Mine is a AP 1 non heated. There are several different versions of the model S windshield. Maybe some are a bit more rare.

Tesla does not need too! We call our setting "exit" . It is another personal profile that you build, adjust, according to you're body type. A tall person fore-instance might want a different personal "exit", "park" profile than me.

I too think this is a bit of a goofy post. Tesla is right to put lots of limitations on AP. There are a few risk takers that would like to drive a country road on AP just for kicks. Tesla's are for drivers. Enjoy the drive.

The 90D proved it's worth when on a road trip to Colorado the supercharger in Green River Utah was out of commission and we had just enough battery, by driving slow, to make it to Grand Junction. It is really nice to have the extra range in emergencies.
