My Model 3 updated to firmware 2024.3.25 today. It still didn't fix the "PCS_a022, Unable to charge, Service is required" error every 4 minutes, and didn't fix the HV contactor clicking every 4 minutes. Tried a reboot, didn't help.

Very interesting. My Model 3 has the Tesla Power Trunk retrofit kit installed as well.

Update: The service manager let me explain my viewpoint, and without necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with me, did agree to waive the charge this time. I'm still curious what others think about this situation. I think I'm in the right, but obviously everyone thinks that about themselves.

Update: The car doesn't have to be parked for 1 hour before trying this. You only need to wait 30 minutes. I'd really like to find out if anyone else can reproduce this.

If the car is locked, and you approach the car with your phone key in your pocket/purse, can you use the foot sensor to pop the trunk open? Or do you have to unlock the car (by pulling door handle) first before the foot sensor becomes active?

They downsample all the cameras 4:1 (and the cameras are pretty low rez to begin with). That's probably why they can't read the speed limit signs. With HW3 they won't be downsampling the camera data.

Note that most new inventory vehicles are 2018 models, while custom ordering a new one would get you a 2019 model. Years down the road, when you are ready to sell your car, the Dec 2018 car will be worth about $6K less than the Jan 2019 car.

You are wrong. Regulations do not require hands on the wheel. BMW allows "hands off" below a certain speed on one of their cars. Cadillac allows "hands off" at any speed on one of their cars. There was a car that predated both the BMW and Cadillac by a full 4 years that allowed it as well...
