Picked up my MYLR7 white/black today. Car was in excellent condition, no issues other than a tiny paint chip on the rear bumper. They’re going to take care of it of course. Other than that car had perfect fit and finish.

Well it’s not really *free* lol you’d still pay $5k more than you would for the 5 seater. Sounds like you should just wait instead of paying $5k more for something you don’t need to save 1-2 months of waiting

It’s totally normal, don’t worry. It’s like when a cookie sheet pops in the oven. I’ve brought this up to service before and they were not concerned at all and said it’s normal.

I got the notification yesterday, but when connected to wifi it wouldn’t download. I tried the two button reset and a hard reset too and nothing. This morning the update disappeared. Did they pull it or some my car just having some kind of issue?

The mobile service tech removed them, I didn’t watch so can’t comment on the process. He didn’t mention any potential issues that could result from removing them

I had a mobile service tech come out for this issue. He said that the cameras have a vapour barrier but they’ve realized the vapour barrier is actually making the issue worse. So he recommended removing the barriers. But he also said that it won’t completely solve the issue and that preheating...

FYI for those living far from a SC. I booked a mobile service appointment for an unrelated issue and got a text asking if I’d like them to bring the kit for me and they also offered to install for $26.25+ tax. Too bad I already went to the Oakville SC and picked them up.

I bought the Gen 2 charger and performance pedals. Shipping took a while but other than that the products have been great and were at a good price compared to others.

You may be correct, but that’s not what I’ve experienced. I’ve tested it on snowy roads where I took my foot off the accelerator completely to see what would happen. Strong regen begins which does cause rear wheels to slip as you said, but right as that happens the car cuts the regen...

Just got the update as well, I don’t have FSD so looks like it’s a wide rollout now.

FYI my regen behaviour has returned to normal as the temps have dropped the past couple of days. I think Tesla’s explanation of high temps= soft rubber = traction control reducing regen made sense.

Will keep you posted. If the issue persists once the temps drop then I’ll definitely contact them again.

I spoke to Tesla Mobile Service, they seem to think that due to the warm weather the tires are soft and it’s triggering the traction control. They said it should improve as the temperature drops. We will see!

Anybody still having this issue? I have a SR+, and just got 18” aero replicas with Michelin x-ice tires installed. Regen is out of whack, works normally up to 30km/h but at higher speeds it is very limited regardless of battery %

I just purchased their aero replicas (which fit the aero caps) with Michelin x-ice tires. Came up to about $1,845 without the TPMS, I sourced my own from eBay instead of buying theirs for $250+ tax. Pretty good deal I think
