I've got a 2018, 76k miles. 100% charge shows about 223 mi. range. Teslafi indicates a tad below fleet average, so you're doing well. I live with the limited range and now use FUSC every chance I get. I no longer worry about saving the battery. As has been said, they gonna die.

I was not aware that Tesla will sell parts directly to owners, i.e. small owner serviceable items.

Is there a Non-Tesla Source for window weather strip replacement? Tesla wants $250 for the $50 part and installation.

Is there a spec for 'Factory Alignment' of the aim point for left and right main beam, i.e. X feet from car on pavement, or X inches high on wall screen Y distance from bumper? I have not found that spec anywhere and there seems to be a lot of personal preference. Thanks for any assistance.

I had the same issue at pick-up, but they loosened the screws for me, which have a unique head (the screws, not me). Once loose I was able to remove them and then a heat gun and patience was all that was needed for the adhesive tape.

In the charging mode the icon for set charge limit appears as a small car in the upper right; a bit too small to do fine adjustment as could previously be done. Also missing is 'Time Remaining' which I found quite valuable in determining what to do during charge wait.

Thanks to all for the information. Clearly Tesla support didn't know what they were talking about. Also, there is no formal notification when you receive the FSD. However, it is a neat option to play with, but requires serious attention when in use.

I likewise have the same issue. I’d been a 99 for a while and now the element is gone from the app. I am waiting for FSD, but need the camera upgrade (2018 S 75D). I have heard nothing regarding the cameras. So why would they drop the score when it could another year?

You now have to call them up through a menu. Touch the screen and you will see three circle icons in the lower right. Tap the lightening bolt and all charging stations will appear.

The paint is nicked, and yes the film protected the paint. But as has been pointed out, once you get the hang of touch-ups, its not a big deal. Sadly interstate driving is gong to take its toll. I keep telling myself its only a car, its only a car.

I found the destination charger list a valuable resource while traveling. Yesterday I encountered a detour that put me in a critical low power situation. I scrambled to try and find a backup location with no success. Rolled to my destination on 'fumes'.

Set my spacing distance to 3, speed @73MPH and drove 45 miles I-95 SoFla this morning and scored 100. Boring but good score so maybe I'll get what I paid for 3+years ago.

In answer to the initial question, I always use the delay timer to reach 100% within an hour of my start of a long trip. That extra boost adds a few more miles ands hence options for the start. After that, I follow the superchargers and schedules on the screen.

It is now three years since I prepaid for FSD and no news yet. I see where subscription is coming to M3 and nice upgrades to autopilot for M3, but nothing for us?

Once the screws were removed, I dripped alcohol to soften the adhesive. It was a very slow process but a steady pull, heat, and solvent did the trick. Good Luck!

I experience the problem regularly in an HOV merge lane (I-95 North at FLL). No obvious reason, but I disengage immediately and reset to resolve. Occasionally there are unposted speed limit changes that cause it as well.
