Interesting I wonder if it gives up trying to connect to wifi and just goes to sleep. I have similar ~40 minute sleeps at work where there is no wifi. Edit: Either way, if my car is sleeping for longer than it is idling, I'm happy.

I have a weak wifi signal at home, yet it sleeps for over 12 hours each night. The wifi is not the issue.

Its very hard to describe the sound. I think its normal but it is the first thing I noticed when driving. In my S, going 0-15 mph was completely silent. I am going to have it checked out anyway.

So I took delivery of a 3 this Friday and I had a S85D that I traded in. I am noticing a light grinding noise when going from 0-15 mph on my 3, on my S it was silent. Is this normal for 3s?

Another 24 hr cycle, happy to report that sleeping significantly reduces vampire loss. Also it is very cold here (20F) so I'm guessing that the 11 hours of idle could be the battery heater being used. I'm sure if all 24 hrs were sleeping, the loss would be much much less.

I am thinking of getting a model 3. Can model 3 owners that use teslafi and are in a cold weather area post their sub 40 degree F temperature efficiency? Also post if you were using any type of heat (cabin heater, heated seats, etc) Thank you!
