I've had a very good discussion with Peter Gruber so far. He has provided some excellent assistance. Gruber have some associates in Europe they are working with to provide PEM repairs over here. I've not gone any further with Gruber just yet due to the current dialogue with Tesla.

Well actually my car is in at Tesla right now for inspection. They reckon there might be other things wrong judging by the error messages. I would only attempt the PEM repair if I knew it was just the transistors. Will keep you posted.

Thanks Daniel, So it seems best to stick with the IKW75B60T given the unknown effect of changing any patameters - even Vsat with regards to the drivers etc. Luckily I'm good at soldering and am also a director of an excellent contract electronics manufacturing facility here in the UK...

Hi David, I put the Pioneer in several months ago. The installer could not get the reverse camera activation working (although I can select it manually). I think it's probably a voltage level issue. How did you fix it?

My Roadster warranty is about to run out. Just had it serviced. No problems found. No noticeable battery degradation in 10k miles. A year back I did however have a complete PEM failure (thank goodness I was not on a main road at the time!). I'm looking at the 3-year extended warranties...

All our cars are covered under a single Chubb Masterpiece policy. They added my Tesla without problem and at lower cost than elsewhere. Tesla insurance is expensive because there is only one place to get them repaired... Try calling Jeremy Burgess at Coversure in Reigate for a quote. Ray.
