I feel like you are being told incorrectly. The email from Tesla says that the colors will be available as an off menu item. Not completely unavailable. If that color is what you want, you should be able to call and change to it still, for 2k.

Cars in PA are not required to have valid emissions/inspection stickers at point of sale, the buyer is responsible to get it done within 10 days. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I would bank of them NOT having a sticker at all. Maybe things have changed since I moved... I used to...

I'd recommend getting approved with a credit union that will do it without a VIN, then using lightstream to beat the rate. If you are lucky, you will get an unsecured loan, and can get the money deposited into your account and pay with a cashiers check.

You don't need to use the entire credit in one year, I believe you can spread it across 10 years (it may even be 20) if you do not have enough liability.

They make no mention of how quickly you need to spend the money on the car. They just ask that you use spend the funds on what you actually requested the funds for.

They did not require a VIN. You likely won't be able to get the money unless you are approved for unsecured. It really is that quick. I do not have an inquiry on my credit from LightStream yet, but I do from Allegacy (according to credit karma)

You have 30 days to accept the loan, then 30 days from then to schedule the payment. Mine was approved as unsecured, so I will just deposit the money into my account and start making payments if I run out of time. My delivery timeframe is Aug-October, so I am hoping that is not an issue.
