I was wondering this myself, the only thing I would be concerned about is getting the appropriate torque on the nuts. I would think this may heat and cool as the heater comes on and off. So I was concerned they may lossen over time.

Where is the ptc fuse on a model 3?

Of course you still need to go through teslas high voltage disconnect procedure and verify at probing point on penthouse that high voltage has been properly disconnected.

Oh also I did not have to disconnect the ptc heater high voltage line under the car. There is enough slack to flip the heater upside down in the passenger seat foot well (USA passenger side). And do the work in the car.

Just curious of any updates on this? I live in a cold area of the US and was just about to do the DIY upgrade.

That is where I measured the resistance, but again I feel like I just got lucky. I was expecting a much greater difference between the elements.

I did have success, it takes a couple odd sockets to do the job, and I think I got somewhat lucky. Each of my elements all read pretty close together. If memory serves me the highest was around 1.4 and the lowest was 1.0. I ended up removing the lowest and it worked. I ended up just cutting...

Safe to update page normally takes many weeks before updates appear. Best bet is to keep checking here. For minor updates alot of people here will just install them right away.

I just lost heat in my 2018 M3 lr awd at 125k miles. In service menu I ran test and it said the ptc failed the test. I'm considering taking the ptc out and testing resistance on each of the 6 heating elements. @latifimr did you desolder the tabs that you pulled out or just cut them...

Nevermind currency got changed on me.

I just added boost 50 to ghost to shopping cart and price changed from from $708 to $992 in the cart. Was able to get screenshot before adding to cart. Did they just jack up the price and offer the discount?

No issues 2023.38.6 installed boost 50. Have not tried supercharging yet.

So just wanted to post here my final resolution. I was able to get a new repeater camera for the passenger side. Once I got the old camera off I noticed some green powder after disconnecting the coax cable from the camera. Upon further investigation I found that the center pin on the camera...

FYI I installed 2023.2.12 everything seems to be fine that I can tell. Also for full disclosure I haven't tried super charging yet.

Got 2023.2.12 but still no passenger side, looks like I'll be trying to get a replacement camera next

Well I got the drivers side working by entering service mode and doing a reinstall of software and then a 3 point reset. So far passenger side still has not come back online.

Yeah unfortunately out of warranty. I'm hoping the next update may fix it.

I have done what I thought was the 2 point reboot by holding the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel. Is a 3 point the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel and the brake pedal?

I just installed this update a few days ago and today both my lh and rh Fender cameras are black. Lh seems to flicker now and again but right has been black. I tried a reset ie holding the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel but no luck.

Could be, just saw it and thought for sure it was 4.4 to 3.9. Also noticed on the website the LR AWD also lists 4.2.

Just happened to notice this on my 2018 M3. Could this mean we will be seeing our performance increase to 4.2 non boost and 3.7 boosted? Or just an error and only for newer 21 model?

Also don't you need a 64bit os for the DB? I had an old odroid u3 that I was going to try and run the doxker image on but thought I read it needed a 64bit Os?

I'm having the same issue after replacing my headlight. When you say firmware update did they indicate what firmware they were updating? Or if anyone else knows how to fix this issue without having to take it in to tesla?

Everything worked out great, adrianp89 did a great job packaging and shipping freight up north.

It's funny not to long a go a truck with a towing capacity of 14k, payload capacity of 3,500 and around 400hp would have been considered a heavy duty truck.
