Does tesla ship the model 3 keyfob promptly ? I ordered nearly a month ago and got a tracking number the next day. however that tracking number hasn't moved beyond shipment notice. I tried reaching out to Tesla but haven't heard a response yet.

My car is back, they looked up their internal software called "toolbox" and found a similar reported issue and fix. The fix performed was to adjust the C-Pillar lining. Since its raining, I cannot call this issue resolved, will report back on a sunny day.

I'm getting my car back today, its raining and they claim to have fixed it by adjusting the interior. I think it will have to go back on a sunny day again :(

Mine is in the shop now. The technician who test drove with me was able to hear the noise and was confident it was something to do with the seat and said they will fix it. on a side note Tesla enterprise loaners are really bad. Wish they treated us like how BMW treats their customers.

I wonder if there is some rust build-up going on which is causing this creaking. will find out on feb 10th when the appt is scheduled

An Update: I don't get the creaking noise anymore. I drove in rain and once the rain stopped the sound was gone too. :confused:

I got mine yesterday and installed it promptly. the charging is great works as expected, however there is a major drawback. the charger is shorter on the x-axis and longer on the y-axis. the shortness breadth wise causes the unit to wobble when placing the phone, cornering etc. being longer...

After much thought and unable to find good set of wheels and tires in stock in tirerack, I started working if I should just pickup the 19" wheel package from tesla for my p3d+ and just use a 5mm spacer and it will work fine. any thoughts ?

I haven't supercharged yet, but I hear that sound everytime i get into the car, it greets me with that sound when the system is waking up. also when I tap on the floor on the rear seats floorpan it makes the same sound.

I think everyone got it whether or not they waited in line. My friend who reserved after me ( about a week later) still got the model car.

I called their service and they asked what time it occurred and said their team will look into it. they also suggested to call back if it occurs again. I agree on the safety issue with no AP sounds.

same experience today, had to do a 36 minute drive with road noise. no indicator blinks nothing.

It also depends on what the battery can take. its mentioned in the manual that repeated supercharging can degrade the battery and cause lower charge rate. this might not be your case but it begs to be checked out by Tesla

Tesla should have used high discharge rated cells for the performance model. There is very little you can do about cooling. its the internal resistance of the cells used by Tesla, when we draw more amps from the battery the internal resistance causes the battery to heat up. if they were made of...

my advice would be to call them and request a ping to the location of the car. if its fremont CA (or not yet produced) or your local delivery center it will be arriving as scheduled. anywhere else it could be a inventory car which will need a good logistics team to bring it over to you. mine has...

they give you the option of paying early when the VIN is assigned with a delivery date scheduled. however you can choose to pay while taking delivery

Just an update from my end. after few reschedules my delivery is now up in the air. I spend a lot of time worrying about this and calling their number daily. It totally depends, I ordered on june 27th (reseved day 1) and it always said by late september. somehow on 29th Sept I got a call and scheduled for Oct 2nd. however that has been a moving target and now its all back to square 1. and then there are several folks who just get their P3D in a week...
