Update -- The total price of the EVSE added to the solar panel inverter was going to be more than a Tesla HPWC. It didn't take much convincing to have them to purchase the HPWC and roll that up into the solar loan so that it is covered by the solar federal tax credit.

Nice! I must have been just a few behind you in line -- also reserved in Charlotte at around 12:30. I was invited on the same day, but waited until 3/30 to order.

Seems like we're seeing a lot more VIN registrations and config invites which indicates increases in production. Hopefully they'll also make corresponding improvements in VIN assignments through to the transport and delivery of cars.

Glad to hear it, I've been following this story of VINs going missing for a bit and it's nice to see it getting dealt with.

Perhaps they found a problem with parts quality and were able to trace it to certain VINs... There was some talk recently about people having to get their drive units replaced. It could be that or something else.

I was invited on 3/22, but didn't configure until 3/30. Also configured black with aeros, so I may have a little wait yet for a VIN... Or it could be tomorrow. Who knows -- being patient while I get the garage and finances in order.
