Ah, this firmware upgrade has been a nightmare. It made the car completely useless for long trips and now this noise is killing my head. I wonder if I should even take the car to service center?

I mostly drive in Sports mode, and this noise issue I recorded happened in Sports mode driving.

Did this with SOC at 60% and 78%

I am experiencing really bad charging speed on my 2015 P85D. Getting 30kW when I used to get 80+ most of the time. I have scheduled a service appointment, however, after reading responses here, I am not very hopeful. what are other folks planning to address this?

Thank you. Wheels were my only concern, in the worst case I will purchase new tires. If there is significant damage on wheel, I will most likely not take the delivery. I paid $53100 for the car.

Yeah, I drove my friend's 2015 85D and it was amazingly fast, with very good range. I will have to compromise on range a bit to get the performance of P85D.

Is P85D also faster than 85D during takeovers acceleration (say from 60-90mph) ?

It is used from Tesla website, covered with 4yr/50k miles warranty. The build month is 8/15. I have been hearing that build quality of P cars is better than non-P cars, not sure how accurate is that.

About to order a 2015 85D from Tesla used inventory. Super confused with the upgrades. Not willing to compromise on color (Red it is), and the options I see in CPO has either sound upgrade or suspension upgrade. Not upgrading any of those and use that extra money on great detailing...

I completely agree. I am just not sure if Air Suspension actually makes the more comfortable. The value of upgrading Air Suspension and Sound Upgrade has been debatable, many people can't tell any difference.

Interesting. Looking at the Carfax (more than 10 of them) of used 85D, I only see one previous owner, which means that loaners might not be reported in Carfax.

Yeah, have to be super careful with used vehicle. Although the issues are cosmetic most of the time and spending $1000 on detailing should take care of it for a lot of issues.

What if the car was a lease return, then used as loaner and then listed in CPO website?

Is there a good way to find out if the CPO car I am looking at Tesla website has been used as demo/loaner vehicle or it was a lease return. Can the sales agent disclose this info?

Also seeing some post about battery issues with 90D, interested to get some thoughts on this aspect as well.
