I brought up the same issue for my model 3 at the service center, they added some silicone lubricant to the handles which seemed to fix the issue. Doing this will definitely cause the lubricant to drip down the outside of the door, I would wipe that away as quick as possible.

Hi jroydog, Tesla did that. Changed the filters and did an HVAC condenser cleaning. They said the same thing but the smell has not gone away. I believe the smell you are referring to is a spoiled milk/moldy smell. This is different.

Good idea! I did see a Technical Service Bulletin to replace the High Voltage battery breathers, which can be identified by a thumping noise. I have told tesla i hear this noise but they will not replace my breather caps unless i get an audio recording of the sound.

It's not the air filter(s), i'm assuming you mean cabin filters. I changed them. Filters I removed looked fine with no mold or smell. The smell your talking about, and the plenty of other threads, is a vinegar smell / stinky foot smell.
