Selling my 21” Uberturbine with tires and TPMS.
Front is 275/35/21
Rear is 295/35/21.
The rear will need to be replaced. Front still has lots of life left. All 4 wheels were hyper dipped and the dip is coming off. 2 of the wheels have a little curb rash but nothing big.
Asking $800. Prefer...
Yes. It’s very hard to see at night, especially trying to see pedestrians. I have to roll my windows down to make sure. Definitely can’t see the rear from my mirror.
Had mine installed for over 6 months and been fine driving mostly freeway at 80+. It only came in gloss black when I ordered it so I plastidipped in matte black.
No issue going with 275 & 295 set up for the 21” with 1” drop. Only issue is if you use spacers greater than 15mm, you’ll start rubbing going through dips at fast speed (freeway) and going in/out of ramps.
I have a set (2 pcs) of Bonoss 20mm spacers. These are the 7075T6 and stronger than the standard 6061T6. They’re used for about ~1000 miles. Located in Whittier CA. $100 picked up. Thanks
Have a set of 25mm blox spacers. They’re 7075T6 is stronger than 6061T6. They’re used for about 1k miles. Great for stock height.
$100. Located in Whittier, CA.
The stock tires were worn so I replaced them with 275/35/21 & 295/35/21 Michelin AS4. I don’t think spacers affect the ride quality or at least I don’t feel it. If anything these new tires feels a little quieter.
Not sure either but I figured if the same tire size for the rear can be used for the front, why not go with all 275/53/21? But of course, it does look cooler with wider rear tires.
One of the well known shops in SoCal refuses to mount anything outside the factory specs for teslas because of possible slippage/reaction from the car. Anyone experience this?
That’s what I am going to do tomorrow. The website forces you to enter your vehicle and it won’t let you checkout because of different than OE specs. I will call them tomorrow to order the 265/35/21 and 295/35/21 Michelin AS as it looks like it’s the next best option. Hopefully it’s still in...
Where do you guys find shops that carry these tires? A few tire shops won’t mount anything outside the factory specs. I want to put 265/40/21 and 285 (or 295)/40/21 but they won’t do it. Some shops can’t even order it. Didn’t know it is so hard to find 21 sizes.
