Sharing from Google map to Tesla not working?

Excuse late reply and thanks for your help. I rebooted my phone and it works fine now. I forgot you can only really share a location from a map or directions. Can't share route while navigation is active. So wish I could just talk to my smartwatch and at navigate to somewhere and it...

Sharing from Google map to Tesla not working?

I used to be able to share but it now says not working. Tesla app works fine. My phone works fine. But it can no longer share. Does anyone else have this issue?

Tyres and RANGE: foam v no foam?

Thanks mate. By range I mean efficiency, miles range out of the battery by the way, just to be clear.

Tyres and RANGE: foam v no foam?

Model X Ludicrous 7-10k miles a year UK - so no extreme temps Need new tyres 20" wheels I can get the proper 'Tesla' Michelin ones for £260 each or so, or some alternatives for abotu £150 or so each. Would save me a fair bit of money. Noise My initial Q was about noise but the excellent...

    Really upset. Need charging adapter?

Update for all: Tesla seem to agree I should have received one. They say I should have received a CCS adapter it seems with my May 31st built Tesla, it just wasn't included. They're going to send me one. Thank you Tesla!

    Really upset. Need charging adapter?

Good point... are dealerships free charging? I thought it is charged like any other. I'd never go in if I thought it was free somehow, that's theft (even though I have free miles to use). I hope not. Now I feel mortified. Security guard didn't see it as problem and even helped out with an...

    Really upset. Need charging adapter?

I get that. A UK car was sold to me here in the UK and Tesla's own dealership here in the UK, doesn't have the correct connector for me. Surely they are aware of the cars they sell in this country and the compatibility they have with their very own chargers in the same country. We're not...

    Really upset. Need charging adapter?

Many thanks Nicebag. I genuinely don't quite follow though... I am actually expected to pay for this extra adapter to charge my car atttheir dealerships? Or am I to expect a bit of plastic in the post? They won't let me charge there unless I buy another adapter that I have to buy from them...

    Really upset. Need charging adapter?

So I was low on miles and found a Tesla dealership yesterday with chargers but none of them for my 2019 Model X surprisingly!!! A security guard was luckily there, saw me struggling and lent me an adaptor for an hour or so. I am totally disgusted by this. I spent over £100,000 on this thing...

Model X and monkeys at Longleat

Does anyone have any experience with Model X (or any Tesla I guess) at Longleat Safari park. The monkeys there can be a bit of a pest and pull of antennae and rear brake lights, rubber trim, hub caps and windscreen squirters However TMX doesn't have hubcaps, windscreen squirters, rear...

    Keys not being recognised

What a fantastic idea! I called the service line who said to send a text asking for a mobile service, in reply to the confirmation text they sent me. I hope this works! In the meantime if there's anything anyone can suggest to save Tesla or me a journey that'd be great.

    Keys not being recognised

Tesla Raven Model X Key fob stopped working. I reached for the spare. Not working either. Odd to have two batteries go at once, especially when I changed one recently. So I ordered two batteries and none of them working. EVen putting key in the recognition bit in cup holder or by...

Upgraded Software to 40.50.1 - Voice command not working

My voice command on my Raven X is USELESS since the update as well There was a short period where it was AMAZING, like it would play the song I would ask it play immediately like Alexa does, without merely putting up a list of suggesions you then have to select. Then it just went REALLY bad...

    Regen braking dramatically reduced.

That's weird because if you're driving it by definition it's not fully charged any more. Unless it's fully charged and you decide to roll it down a hill I guess and there's nowhere for the charge to go

WON'T STOP CHARGING OR LET ME UNLOCK! :(

This has happened several times but this morning I got into work half an hour late and it's getting ridculous! Basically I go to "stop charging" on the phone app but it won't then let me unlock because it says it's still charging. When in the car the charging screen doesn't come up at all...

How much charge will my Tesla lose per week untouched?

UPDATE: back from holiday and with Sentry mode and Summon Standby off I was pleasantly surprised to see it only drained 3miles/day! That's brilliant.

How much charge will my Tesla lose per week untouched?

I can't find teslafi on the app store. Is it just the Tesla app? In fact I probably won't need to check on Tesla at all while I'm away I'm guessing

How much charge will my Tesla lose per week untouched?

Thanks guys. Yes I have looked at other threads but there is so much variability in responses it's hard to understand, which is why I'm asking about a 2019 ludicrous Model X with the settings turned off. I'm reading about 5-10miles a day loss and here the answers suggest 1-3 miles a day...

How much charge will my Tesla lose per week untouched?

I'm going on a 2 week cruise and it's a bit of a drive down to the port. Now I'm worried about daily drain. Reading around it online,I have climate protection off (cold UK), I shall put the summon thing off and of course sentry mode off and I won't log into check on it. With my raven...

    UK Owners with v10?

I got V10 on my FSD raven X. Some cool additions. Especially Caraoke which is actually awesome especially for kids. Joe mode is a must. Having said that I find it bemusing that Tesla spend so much time with games etc when really I just want FSD to work better. I have no enhanced summon...

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Update: parts have messaged me back and will be ordering it in for me. £32 + vat I'm assuming this means they give their blessing so it at least won't be dangerous. I'll keep you all posted about charge rates when I get it. Watch this space. I should know hopefully in a week when it is here!

    UMC gen1 v gen2

    Brilliant sixela. Thank you!

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Fair enough thanks. Update for the forum. Disgusted with Tesla who have no phoneline to parts. After sevreal calls and a long wait spokje to someone in sales who was eventually helpful in giving me parts email. I emailled them early this morning and so far ignored. Chinese companies *in...

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Yeah a cynical part of me thinks that Tesla changed the UMC to get people to buy the wallcharger, because by my maths if you have a single phase home (most homes in the UK) you'll get the same from a £6 32A commando socket as you will the £460 wall charger.
  25. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Yeah good point. It's only a 100cm run to the outside so hopefully will be ok but I will check with the sparky and builders.
  26. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Very reassuring. So do you think it's worth the risk of spending £100 on a 32A commando adapter to see if it will work? i.e. my guess from this thread is that it *may* work. Is that a reasonable guess? (I appreciate you don't know for sure and I won't hold you to it!)

    Non-existent Customer Service

I'm finding the saem problems, without boring you. Spending £100,000 on something, this really is shocking.
  28. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Well this is extremely reassuring. I'd be very surprised if non-US UMCs are different. I had a chat with Xavelec (very helpful) who reckon that they have just made the same UMC the world over, so if they US one can output 32A chances are ours can too. It's just a guess though based on what I...
  29. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Yeah that's what I thought but it says "max 32A 110-240V" so I guess putting 32A in at 240V should be ok. I suppose the risk in me buying an adapter is if the UMC limits what goes out, as you say.
  30. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Yeah that's the only place I can find such an adapter being sold. Have emailled tesla parts, no response yet (beyond ridiculous that they have noone on the phone I can talk to, even cheap chinese places respond straight away). It'll be a £100 (delivered) risk if it doesn't work. I'm not...
  31. S

    UMC gen1 v gen2

There's no parts option on the phone anymore, and when I try to get through to any other department it just rings forever. A bit like how when we were at the store there was literally noone around. Which brings me onto my dissapointing pickup story, which is a story for another thread. I...

    UMC gen1 v gen2

Got new model X. Have 32A commando sockets at mine and mum's on advice of a friend. My UMC does not have 32A commando adapter. Probably gen2 I imagine. I've read so much conflicting stuff I'm confused now. Someone suggested it will only do 16A. It says on it "max 32A." Can I buy a UMC...

Ok thanks mate yeah I'll look around. Is it just a case of them coming in and switching your meter?

Model X P100D cost per mile in UK?

Thanks will do. The trouble is I've just had my house extended so have no idea what my current usage is, as there's been no gas for a year and loads of power tools being used all day long. Normally you go on these sites and they ask your usage and work out the best for you. But yeah maybe...

Model X P100D cost per mile in UK?

Thanks guys, so I'm hearing 2-5p per mile btu this depends on being on a cheaper night time plan. I'm just on a normal 15p/kwh thing (I really need to look for a better deal). If I go for a cheaper night plan then I imagine I'll be paying more for electricity in the day so would have to do...

Model X P100D cost per mile in UK?

Anyone in the UK with a model X P100D charging at home done the maths as to what real world use is costing per mile? Obviously if I drive like a granny I'll get the full range but noone buys a plood to drive like that. I'm no boy racer but occasionally will put my foot down. Which is why...

    Whoa! Ludicrous+ added to my 2015 Model S P90DL

There is nothing in the manual to say anything about hamsters. Elon was asked specifically about Hamster mode in an hour long presentation to investors dedicated to hamster care and the upshot of it was there are no specific provisions for hamsters, neither will there be in the future. You do...

New FSD computer in my new Model X?

Good news thanks! Ok great well Tesla did say it woudl finish production this month so I'm hoping I'm getting new FSD and not one of the old ones. If it is I'll refuse it I guess as I don't want an old chip in there if there's a newer better one now.

    2019 75d vs 100d : decision

If you can afford it go with bigger battery. It's like hard drives, ram, etc With tech generally the biggest you can afford is better. 13K extra now will be a smaller difference when you sell it because of higher resale value of course. Remember if you dont already own a Tesla you may...

New FSD computer in my new Model X?

My Model X is being built this month. Will it have the new FSD chips they are talking about? And I know this may be a silly question, but would it also power the 17" screen? I saw on a car review somewhere that the Nvidia chip is a bit slow and they were moving to an Intel which would give us...

    Newbie navigation question

This is all a bit depressing tbh . One of the reasons I went for a Tesla is that it uses Google Maps as no incar nav system has ever been as good as using Google on my phone . Now I'm learning it only gives you one route, isn't that good and you're better off using Waze!?

The Wheel Specialists, Colour change 20" Slipstreams

I might be wrong and change my mind when I receure my car but from memory the silver wheels look a bland grey, like crappy plastic wheel caps. I don't like the dark grey thing Tesla does or black that seems so popular on black cars (too much black and I don't want to look too gangsta with my...

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

Hmm what car is this for? P100D? I'm getting a P100D and would love to know what the GAWR is. The wheels I'm looking at are 850kg rated, so if the rear GAWR is 1720kg I won't be able to get them. Is this right?
  46. S

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

Well Tesla UK said the rears are 10" and 285 unless he was talking rubbish? Or not changed in the UK just the US?
  47. S

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

Thanks mate. As you went wider than stock did you have to get your suspension retuned?

    Are Tesla Owners Dirty?

We are environmentally conscious, which is why we don't believe in plastic bin bags so would rather use the floor that mother nature gave us.

    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

Thanks gangzoom, To update the thread for any future visitors here are some other answers I've gleaned by talking to UK wheel stores and to the Tesla parts department. 1) Yes. 10" back, 9" front. Wheels 285 back 265 frotn (source: Tesla parts) 2) Best to go with bigger at the back but I'm...
