12V battery warning and replacement with only 5k miles!

I just had Tesla replace my battery with only 5k miles. It was not covered under warranty because I have my auto frunk and trunk connected to it. I believe it was just a defective battery as nobody has stated this claim or needed a replacement this early after installing those features. The rest of the electronics besides the interior lights are stock. Sucks Tesla made me pay for this but I do understand the void in warranty. I would have replaced it myself but I didn’t want to risk the battery dying before getting a new one.

Anyone have this same issue?

What exactly does the 12V warning say?
How does it differentiate between the rear drive unit failure messages?

I'm losing track of the threads where people debate back and forth about "Is it the 12V or RDU?"

I didn’t take a picture or remember the exact wording but something to the sense of “replace 12v battery soon...updates cannot be performed until done.”
