I just bolted my 18x9.5 (40) and 18x10.5 (25) on my Model 3. They won't fit unfortunately. Both rubbed against something on the inside of the wheel. Just a FYI
Yes most 18 inch wheels won't fit over the performance's large brakes. The spreadsheet list some 18 inch wheels that are known to fit over the performance brakes.
It looks like you guys are wanting something like this. I'm looking at the Hypergram's myself after I wear my 20" tires down or damage a wheel. Tesla Model 3 Performance 18" Wheels
Offset calculator says your fronts will lose 18mm of inside clearance. Did you measure it prior to and put the info in the calculator? That's a pretty big amount.
Also we have multiple other threads going with this info and it would have been better to put it in there. Would have also been nice to list what wheel is was since this is a hit or miss issue. And it would have been nice if the OP had tried a small spacer instead of just declaring it won't work.
I should correct myself, it was 27mm offset, the 10.5 barely rubbed where the 9.5 40 hit for sure. Running a spacer to get something to fit isn’t the same as fitting.
