Good questions!
One of the things I was looking for was a taller sidewall for a smoother ride. I can definitely feel a difference, as would be expected. Speedbumps at 5mph used to feel like a punch to the gut, but now it's much gentler. There's also a noticeable difference when driving over rough roads where the previous tires not only transmitted more jolts but also more road noise. On smooth highways, the road noise is about the same as the factory 4S tires - maybe quieter.
For efficiency, over my previous 4,000 miles with stock wheels and tires I averaged 308Wh/mi. That's pretty close to the 304Wh/mi EPA average. Over several hundred miles of city and highway (50/50) driving it's dropped a fraction to 307Wh/mi with the new setup.
