Have an interesting situation. I currently have a Tesla with my own account and my spouse just ordered our second Tesla. I assumed since I was able to easily add our non Tesla to my Tesla insurance that it would be easy to do the same with the new Tesla. I didn’t even think about the new car being on a different Tesla account since I won’t drive it often.
However, now that we have the VIN I tried to add it to my insurance and it doesn’t allow it. Is there not a way to add it to my policy? Seems like if we have two policies we would miss out on the multi car discount and paying for liability coverage twice.
