2 Videos racing a Full Bolt On GTR

After racing the Supra the I raced the owners wife in their full bolt on GTR in a couple drag races. We weren't sure where the quarter mile ended do we set the finish line at the end of the straight where the white barricades along the side of the track meet the red barricades.

First race the start was an arm drop.

The second race was on her go. It's a bad angle but the victory margin was about 1.5 car lengths.

The supra owner said afterwards, well looks like we're all going to go out and have to buy Tesla's now. They were all really impressed with it on the road course too.

I own a gtr as well as model x that I just bought. The gtr does have more of a time delay with the launch control from when you lift the pedal vs the Tesla. The 0-60 on both the gtr and X is 2.7. But unless timed right the x gets there faster when side by side.

Yeah the elevation is 4500ft.

Nice vid and run! coming from a GTR and watching all these vids give me the feels. Ordered a M3P and can't wait for it to get here. The tesla can def. hold it's own and then some.

Nice runs!. Both are amazing cars. I'm lucky to have both and have been to the track with them. The Tesla is way easier to launch and more consistent than the GT-R. However with the right launch the GT-R is a monster and will be quicker.

Same! I have a 2017 GTR Track Edition and a Model S, love them both, my gtr is fairly quicker due to a tune however the surprise factor when racing someone in the Tesla is alot more entertaining. It's just shocking to most when a sedan pulls off the line that quickly. With the GTR its expected.
